THE CAT'S DIARY
Day 183 of my captivity...
My captors continued to taunt me with bizarre little dangling
objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat
dry
cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and
the
mild satisfaction I get from clawing the furniture. Tomorrow I may eat
another house plant.
Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet
while
they were walking almost succeeded. Maybe I should try this at the top
of
the stairs.
In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once
again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair - must try this
on
their
bed.
Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body in an
attempt to
make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into
their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little
kitty cat I was. This is not working according to plan.
There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed
in
solitary confinement throughout the event. However, I could hear the
noise
and smell the food. More important, I overheard that my confinement was
due
to my powers of inducing something called "allergies." Must learn what
this
is and how to use it to my advantage.
I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches.
The
dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is
obviously a half-wit.
The bird, on the other hand, has got to be an informant. He speaks
with
them regularly, and I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his
current placement in the metal room, his safety is assured. But I can
wait.
It's only a matter of time.
Here is a fun puzzle ... with a greeting at the end for you ...

God bless ...

(3 John 1:14 KJV) But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.
For Yvonne:
I can hardly wait 'til tomorrow
But not for today and its sorrow
For I will remember
This day in September
The hours all fleeting its way
I can see as if history's self
Lined up like books on a shelf
Repeating its theme
Just like in a dream
For I'll love you more then than today.
Ott - Sept. 12, 2006
Some read the last blog that I wrote (Do you really want to be my friend?) and thought I was speaking (or asking) of myself.
Others read it thinking I was speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Really ... either could fit ...
I would just rather you look at me and see the Lord Jesus Christ ...
God bless ...
Bro. Ott
(Rom 8:29 KJV) For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Do You Really Want To Be My Friend?
Do you really want to be my friend? Do you really?
(1) When I go outside, most of my friends are ashamed of me.
(2) They say I have done an evil thing.
(3) I am not much fun these days because of my condition.
(4) All I tried to do was help their children.
(5) But even they have turned against me.
(6) The religious leaders of our area have spoken against me and want to destroy me.
(7) I have been divorced.
(8) My new bride is doing my work and supporting me.
(9) If you remain my friend, I will be the best friend you have ever had.
(10) I will let you come live in my house.
(1) (1 Pet 3:16 KJV) Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
(2) 17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
(3) (Psa 22:14 KJV) I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
(4) (Mark 10:14 KJV) But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
(5) (Job 19:19 KJV) All my inward friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
(6) (Mat 26:3 KJV) Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,
4 And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtlety, and kill him.
(7) (Jer 3:8 KJV) And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
(8) (Rev 22:17 KJV) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
(9) (Prov 18:24 KJV) A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
(10) (Psa 23:6 KJV) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
God bless you ...

Remember the guy who got on a plane with a bomb built into his shoe and
tried to light it?
Did you know his trial is over? Did you know he was sentenced? Did you
see/hear any of the judge's comments on TV or Radio?
Didn't think so.
Everyone should hear what the judge had to say.
Ruling by Judge William Young, US District Court.
Prior to sentencing, the Judge asked the defendant if he had anything to
say. His response: After admitting his guilt to the court for the record,
Reid also admitted his "allegiance to Osama bin Laden, to Islam, and to the
religion of Allah," defiantly stating, "I think I will not apologize for my
actions," and told the court "I am at war with your country."
Judge Young then delivered the statement quoted below:
January 30, 2003, United States vs. Reid. Judge Young:
"Mr. Richard C. Reid, hearken now to the sentence the Court imposes upon
you.
On counts 1, 5 and 6 the Court sentences you to life in prison in the
custody of the United States Attorney General. On counts 2, 3, 4 and 7, the
Court sentences you to 20 years in prison on each count, the sentence on
each count to run consecutively. (That's 80 years.)
On count 8 the Court sentences you to the mandatory 30 years again, to
be served consecutively to the 80 years just imposed. The Court imposes
upon you for each of the eight counts a fine of $250,000 that's an aggregate
fine of $2 million. The Court accepts the government's recommendation with
respect to restitution and orders restitution in the amount of $298.17 to
Andre Bousquet and $5,784 to American Airlines.
The Court imposes upon you an $800 special assessment. The Court imposes
upon you five years supervised release simply because the law requires it.
But the life sentences are real life sentences so I need go no further.
This is the sentence that is provided for by our statutes. It is a fair
and just sentence. It is a righteous sentence.
Now, let me explain this to you. We are not afraid of you or any of
your terrorist coconspirators, Mr. Reid. We are Americans. We have been
through the fire before. There is too much war talk here and I say that to
everyone with the utmost respect. Here in this court, we deal with
individuals as individuals and care for individuals as individuals. As
human beings, we reach out for justice.
You are not an enemy combatant. You are a terrorist. You are not a
soldier in any war. You are a terrorist. To give you that reference, to
call you a soldier, gives you far too much stature. Whether the officers of
government do it or your attorney does it, or if you think you are a
soldier. You are not----- you are a terrorist. And we do not negotiate
with terrorists. We do not meet with terrorists. We do not sign documents
with terrorists. We hunt them down one by one and bring them to justice.
So war talk is way out of line in this court. You are a big fellow. But
you are not that big. You're no warrior. I've known warriors. You are a
terrorist. A species of criminal that is guilty of multiple attempted
murders. In a very real sense, State Trooper Santiago had it right when you
first were taken off that plane and into custody and you wondered where the
press and the TV crews were, and he said: "You're no big deal."
You are no big deal.
What your able counsel and what the equally able United States attorneys
have grappled with and what I have as honestly as I know how tried to
grapple with, is why you did something so horrific. What was it that led
you here to this courtroom today?
I have listened respectfully to what you have to say. And I ask you to
search your heart and ask yourself what sort of unfathomable hate led you to
do what you are guilty and admit you are guilty of doing? And, I have an
answer for you. It may not satisfy you, but as I search this entire record,
it comes as close to understanding as I know.
It seems to me you hate the one thing that to us is most precious. You
hate our freedom. Our individual freedom. Our individual freedom to live
as we choose, to come and go as we choose, to believe or not believe as we
individually choose. Here, in this society, the very wind carries freedom.
It carries it everywhere from sea to shining sea. It is because we prize
individual freedom so much that you are here in this beautiful courtroom.
So that everyone can see, truly see, that justice is administered fairly,
individually, and discretely. It is for freedom's sake that your lawyers
are striving so vigorously on your behalf, have filed appeals, will go on in
their representation of you before other judges.
We Americans are all about freedom. Because we all know that the way we
treat you, Mr. Reid, is the measure of our own liberties. Make no mistake
though. It is yet true that we will bare any burden; pay any price, to
preserve our freedoms. Look around this courtroom. Mark it well. The
world is not going to long remember what you or I say here. The day after
tomorrow, it will be forgotten, but this, however, will long endure.
Here in this courtroom and courtrooms all across America, the American
people will gather to see that justice, individual justice, justice, not
war, individual justice is in fact being done. The very President of the
United States through his officers will have to come into courtrooms and lay
out evidence on which specific matters can be judged and juries of citizens
will gather to sit and judge that evidence democratically, to mold and shape
and refine our sense of justice.
See that flag, Mr. Reid? That's the flag of the United States of
America. That flag will fly there long after this is all forgotten. That
flag stands for freedom. And it always will.
Mr. Custody Officer. Stand him down.
So, how much of this Judge's comments did we hear on our TV sets? We
need more judges like Judge Young, but that's another subject. Pass this
around. Everyone should and needs to hear what this fine judge had to say.
Powerful words that strike home. God bless America
Is Praying Child Abuse?
Is praying for a young child, who is going through some difficulties in their young life, child abuse? That is what they are saying in Marion County, Tennessee.
Many of you have read where a substitute teacher told a young teenager that he was praying for them, was reported and released from his duties as a teacher in the public school system of that county. He is no longer on their "approved" list.
It has also been said that he is guilty of child abuse in praying for a public school child. They are saying that he is guilty of molestation because he mentioned prayer which is in violation of "their" views of separation of church and state.
It is time that the citizens of these United States stop the foolishness that is destroying the spiritual lives of our young people. These events have been reported to several governmental agencies, people who are running for public office, Christian Legal Defense offices, The American Family Association, The Freedom League and The 700 Club (Pat Robertson). So far, none have responded.
Pray, people, pray! Pray that some of these agencies, who had lauded themselves in being Christian indeed, will take action. Write these agencies and those who are in public office where you live. Tell them how you feel about the issues that concern you. Please, also, pray that the right people will be put into public office who will help bring the people back to their knees.
May God bless and have mercy on us all.
