I saw a comment on one of the staff members comments. This person said JCFaith is So !@#$ & Definately wanted their page deleted! They said myspace was SO much better. Bling! Raises a flag!
I thought to myself...Why dosen't this person just Leave and forget it!
The bible says "I will destroy the Wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will Frustrate." Where is the wise man??? Has God not made Foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God, the World through It's Wisdom did Not know Him, God was Pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who Believe! 1Corinthians 1:18-25
"The man Without the Spirit does Not Accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are Foolishness to him and he Cannot understand them, Because they are Spiritually discerned" 1 Cor. 2:14
People without the Spirit of God living in them, cannot discern the things of God. "There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 14:12
This place is Spirit filled and those without the Spirit (or those who do not want to know God) can't handle the light.) ((("Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.)))" BUT.. whoever lives by the truth comes Into the Light, so that what he has done has been done through God." John 3:19-21
I can't understand someone who LOVES Jesus wanting to camp out at myspace. Why? Unless you are there to reach the lost, there is no reason to be there. And to reach the lost, You had Better be Grounded in the Word! The profile pics are full of nudity, their pages have the worst of what the world has to offer. And when you read their posts, most of them are Not happy.
Let's pray for the person who said this about this place and for the lost at myspace. But do know this... I'll let you look it up and read it. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 & 1 Timothy 4:1. Matthew 7:13,14,21***
I Thank GOD I saw the Light!!! :walkman:

"Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord Almighty" Zechariah 4:6
I was reading in Matthew 14 where Jesus feed 5000 people Not including the women and children there! He had just heard about the death of John the baptist. What would you think the first thing he would do after hearing this? He left everyone and went to a Private place. When you do that, you do not want to be disturbed. (Everytime Jesus withdraws himself from people, it's to go and PRAY.) If Jesus had the need to pray, how much More Do We need it!
Still, the people wanted to be with Jesus so much they followed him. Jesus SEE'S this Large crowd of people. His first response was He had COMPASSION on them, so he HEALED those who were sick. ---- If we are like Jesus, we See people's Needs and then Act on them. You might think, well, What can I do? I don't even had money to give. Here is where Our 'Little' is 'Much'!
It started getting late, the people had been there along time and were getting hungry. Well, logically, you would probablly dismiss them so they could go eat. BUT! Jesus said YOU give them something to eat; Talking to His disciples. They must have thought He was crazy. They Only had 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish! I could eat 2 pieces of fish myself!
You'd think after seeing Jesus just heal all those sick folks, they would have just asked Him to create something to eat!
Jesus told them to bring the bread and fish to Him. The First thing He did, was THANK God for them! By all human means, there was no way that Little bit of food could feed over 5000 people. Even though we might not have everything we want, God can take the smallest of things and provide Our needs and the needs of others through US.
Why do you think Jesus gave the food He had just blessed to His disciples to give to the people? He wanted them to give what little they had in faith not knowing the outcome.
The bible says they ALL ate and were SATISFIED. Thousands of people were Full! And there was even 12 Basketfulls left over! Why do you think there were 12? Maybe because there were 12 disciples and it was to teach them a valuable lesson?
Jesus showed us by example, to 1.Pray, 2.Have Compassion for others,& 3. To Meet Their Needs by Giving What we Have; whether it be our talents,a kind word when needed, encouraging someone, making a friend with someone new at school, sharing what you have, and you can make your own list.
Do you know what Jesus did after the crowd left?
He went away from everyone and Prayed.
Love, Cj
Take Back
Take Back Your Generation
Taking back a whole generation for God is not going to come easy. In fact, sometimes it is a pretty overwhelming task. But we have many reasons to know that it is possible. Just take a look at King David. He led an entire nation into battle when the only thing that he had done before was herd sheep.
To us, a whole generation may seem just as big as the nation of Israel seemed to David. He was willing to go for it and we must be, too. It does not matter what the past looks like or even who thinks we can do it. God wants us to be leaders in our generation just like this king was in his.
First, we must learn from King David and prepare for this battle. Once he became king, David had a chance to defeat the Philistines, Israel's greatest enemy, and he did it! We can learn how to successfully take back our generation by following David's example.
Prepare in Prayer
In 2 Samuel 5 the Philistines were about to attack the Israelites. David realized that he could only do one thing. In verse 19, he asked the Lord, "'Shall I go and attack the Philistines? Will you hand them over to me?' The Lord answered, 'Go, for I will surely hand the Philistines over to you'" (NIV).
The most important thing for us to do is to really know God. David knew God so well that he knew that he could ask anything and that God would answer him.
By talking to God and reading his word every day, we will know that we are ready when we need to ask God what to do and how to do it. In those times, we will have no problem trusting him.
Start knowing God more now: spend a part of every day talking to God and giving him a chance to talk to you. Choose a time right now and commit to pray every day at that time for at least 15 minutes; do this every day this week. Get to know God the way that King David did.
Strategize Wisely
When the Philistines returned after the first battle, David was listening and heard God's instructions in verse 23 to "not go straight up, but circle around behind them and attack them in front of the balsam trees" (NIV).
This was very important because David would not have been successful if he had attacked any other way. God knew which way the Philistines were coming and was able to give King David the perfect instructions for handling that specific situation. In the same way, we need to learn to plan wisely if we are going to take back a whole generation.
In addition to listening to God and reading the Bible, it is also important to talk to wise adults in the church when we have ideas to make a difference in this generation. Whether we are planning events or to share our faith, many adults can provide wise strategies like the Lord provided for King David.
If there is something great that you want to do to take back this generation, get some advice so that you will be able to make the most of your opportunity.
Be Ready to Move
Verse 24 says that David's army would need to "move quickly, because that will mean the Lord has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army" (NIV). David won the battle when he waited for God's perfect time.
Because this was King David's second encounter with the Philistines, he could have easily focused on the fact that he had already won once and could do it again. However, this second attack would not have been a success if David had not waited for God's signal. No matter what we are doing, we have to wait for God to say "GO."
We cannot make all the plans to take back this generation in an instant. But what we can do is practice listening for direction from God. He will always let us know when He is ready to do something great. We just have to be ready to go when he says it's time. Start asking God to show you the right timing for all of your plans, and be ready to go when He says to go.
King David did all of these things and rose triumphantly from his battles. No matter how impossible the fight seems, when we pray, make plans, and wait for God's timing, there is nothing stopping this generation from being taken back. If we realize that we are never too small and then give it our all, we will see amazing things happen!

How to Mentor Teens
(Artical By 'Battle Cry' for This Generation of Young People}
On a regular basis, this generation of young people is faced with things we could have never anticipated. The increasing level of influence society has on them is continually justified while the teenagers of today are slipping farther and farther out of the grasp of the church.
It is going to take concerned adults like you to rescue them from the clutches of the enemy that is luring them away ever so subtly. What can we do? What does this generation really need? This generation needs you. It needs you to be a mentor.
You may ask, "How can I do anything to help a teen? I don't even know how to talk to them!" Believe it or not, teens are ready and waiting to get to know adults that care for them. Here are a few tips that you can use to get started.
Be real. If your life isn't a cake walk, don't pretend that it is. Show teens how to respond to difficult situations. Often, we feel pressured to act as if our life is perfect, making us seem incredibly un-relatable. Teens have an uncanny sense of knowing when you are being fake. If you are not real with them, they have no reason to be real with you. Teens can feel intimidated by people who seem perfect, but they are willing to open up to those who are transparent.
Seek first to understand, then to be understood. Remember, God gave us two ears and one mouth; listen more than you talk. In his book, "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People," Stephen Covey writes, "…unless I open up with you, unless you understand me and my unique situation and feelings, you won't know how to advise or counsel me. What you say is good and fine, but it doesn't quite pertain to me."
It is easy to counsel through your own autobiography, forgetting that things today are not quite the same as when you were a teenager. In fact, each teenager's story is different than your own. Learn to listen before telling them how it is.
Don't pretend you have all of the answers. If you don't know the answer, don't allow yourself to be intimidated. Rather, find the answer together. Pray and search scripture together. Investigate the issue even further by reading a book together on the topic. The key is not knowing all the answers, but knowing how to find them
Walk the talk. Stephen Covey also writes, "The real key to your influence with me is your example, your actual conduct. Your example flows naturally out of your character or the kind of person you truly are—not what others say you are or what you may want me to think you are. It is evident in how I actually experience you."
The way you privately and publicly live your life is the foundation of your influence on a young person. If the two contradict, then the relationship you are attempting to build will crumble. "A house divided against itself cannot stand." (Mark 3:25)
Once you've identified someone to mentor, remember this: You can't take someone anywhere that you haven't been before. Don't let that intimidate you, but let it encourage you to go places with the Lord you've never been before. Then, show them how to get there, too.

For Parents and Other Layity, the book, "The Disconnected Generation" by Josh McDowell is a good place to start within the home first and then with other young people. Also "Counseling Youth" by Josh McDowell is a great resource when you need hands on as a young person comes to you with life issue's.
"Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisors they succeed." Proverbs 15:22

Not Always!
Sometimes they are very obvious! For those of you who are young and are not grounded in Gods Word, Don't let them influence you in their ways or agree with them when you know you don't. They can make the world look good to you and a little taste is not that bad. But in reality we Know better.
Not Everyone who comes here is "Seeking Truth"! The bible says to be `wise` as a serpent and harmless as a dove.

I noticed some are not sure about dating unbelievers from my polls, so i'd like to show ya what God says about it! What "I" Think, don't make a bit of difference, only what God Thinks.
1-- What about Missionary Dating?
That is when you date someone to try and convert them. What do you guys think of that? Do you think you will have more influence on them, or they will have more influence on you toward worldly things? ***THINK about it!***
2-- WHY do You Date?
To have fun with your friends? To fit in with the croud? To be accepted? To find the One you will eventually marry?
3-- Does your Youth Pastor ever talk about dating? If he or she does, what advice does he give you? Does he use the bible to back up what he says about dating?
One thing for sure! God dosen't mean for us to NOT have friends who Dont know Him. IF you are living for God, You are the Light of the world! How will your lost friends know Jesus if You don't tell them?! God left you here to be Witness of His Love for the Lost. "Go into all the world" Matthew 20:19
You are also to "Not to let anyone LOOK DOWN on YOU because you are young. BUT...set an EXAMPLE in your SPEACH, your LIFE, With LOVE, In FAITH and in PURITY. 1 Timothy 4:12
`Gina's Story`
Gina loved going to church and youth group, and doing things with her friends. She was raised in a Christian Home. Her friends were dating and she wanted to date too. A boy from school asked her to go to a movie with him. She was SO excited! He wasn't a Christian but Gina thought..."I'll witness to him, and he will become a Christian." Even if he dosen't, it wont hurt to see a movie, surely! Gina went on the date, they saw a movie that she was Not confortable with and there was no conversation. He cussed during the movie and laughed at things that Gina didn't think were funny. After the movie, he took Gina to a friends house. Everyone there was drinking and some were disappearing upstairs. Gina was Very unconfortable. She has not talked to him about Jesus Once! Would Gina join in and do what everyone else was doing, or would she call her mom to come get her??? What Would YOU do??? What might be the Consequences if Gina makes the wrong decission??? Dating brings out emotions and feelings that you don't have with your friends. This is why it is So Important to make Right Choices.
The moral to this story is ---- what did Gina and this boy have in common? Please Tell Me!
What does God say about this???
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you'd like to see what different versions say about it....go to biblegateway.com! Here are a few.
Guys, this is taken from (The Message) Version.
~~~2 Corinthians 6:14-18~~~
14-18Don't become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That's not partnership; that's war. Is light best friends with dark? Does Christ go strolling with the Devil? Do trust and mistrust hold hands? Who would think of setting up pagan idols in God's holy Temple? But that is exactly what we are, each of us a temple in whom God lives. God himself put it this way:
"I'll live in them, move into them;
I'll be their God and they'll be my people.
So leave the corruption and compromise;
leave it for good," says God.
"Don't link up with those who will pollute you.
I want you all for myself.
I'll be a Father to you;
you'll be sons and daughters to me."
The Word of the Master, God.
~~~~Amplified Version~~~~
14Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness?
~~~~NIV~~~~
14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
Should you put temptation in front of you? You may not be able to withstand it. Dating Believer's is even hard, because your harmones are running Wild right now! I know of 8 girls in a church here in town who are pregnant out of marriage, and they were dating believers!
How well do you know the Word? Do you have your OWN faith or live off of your parents faith? Think about it! God has great plans in store for you concerning Who you will marry. Dating is Ultimately to find the person you will one day marry.
I'd LOVE Your feedback! But remember.......It's what God says that matters, not what We think!
Luv You Guys!
Cj :wub: :taz:
I've created 2 Polls on Teen Dating. Do any of you talk about dating at your youth groups? If not, you should be. What does your youth pastor tell you? Do you know what missionary dating is? Go take the polls, then come back and read 'My' Answers and what I base them on tomorrow!
