The Unspeakable Grief! Sometimes we face unthinkable circumstances in our lives. Problems and hurts that shake us to our very core! Things that break our hearts into a thousand pieces. We cannot even think of picking those pieces up and putting our lives back together. They are forever broken by death or sickness or divorce or adultery or abuse. Maybe someone you love with all your heart and soul has walked away from you. I could go on and on. When we face the unthinkable, we must never forget we are not alone. We feel unloved and rejected. But God loves us and He hasn't turned His back on us! We cannot sleep or eat. Sometimes it is hard to breathe. Let God breathe for you! You don't know how you can ever move on. Only through God's grace and love and mercy can you ever find peace. And you will in time. It won't happen over night. Pray constantly. Even when you feel like your prayers are bouncing off of the ceiling. Pour your heart out to God! Go ahead and squall your eyes out. Release your pain to the only one who can take your pain away. He is our great physician! He can heal our hurts. He has a reason and a plan. Even when we cannot understand. The bottom line is that someone sinned. When people turn away from God, someone always gets hurts. You can't do wrong and get by. There will be a pay day some day. So, do not seek revenge when someone you love hurts you carelessly. let God handle it. He is our hope when our heart aches with unfathomable grief! Study His Word. Ask Him to comfort your comfortless soul. © Dottie Burford
Update on Virginia Well, we went to the Dr. He said she had a pretty bad infection. He gave her a shot of antibiotics. He said he wanted her to come back for two days for antibiotic shots. On Friday, he will check her again. If the infection hasn't cleared up enough, he will put her in the hospital to give her antibiotics through her veins. He advised against the surgery. He said it was a very delicate surgery and she would lose a significant amount of blood. It would affect her ability to have children. So, if the cysts come back, he will put her in the hospital as an outpatient. He will open them up so they can drain. Hopefully, this will alieve the problem and the surgery will be unnecessary
He did it all for me! They plowed His back with a cat of nine tails. They mocked His name as they all cried Hail, King of the Jews save yourself. They placed a crown of thorns on His head. They pierced His side, all the blood He shed! Why did He suffer such pain in love? ( Chorus) He did it all for me. He died alone upon a tree. Now, I don't have to pay sin's penalty! No, I could never earn my way, but through His blood and by His grace, I've been set free. He did it all for me! They placed Him in a borrowed tomb. They thought that this would surely seal His doom. Pilate said, '' Go make it as sure as you can.'' But on that third and glorious day, the angel rolled that old stone away! Victory was won! He did it all for me! repeat chorus Jesus paid it all, all to Him i owe. No, I can never earn my way but through His blood and by His grace, I've been set free. He did it all for me! i've been set free, He did it all for me! www.churchchoirmusic.com He Has Risen!
Somewhere in the distance, I heard the hammer ring, As they drove the nails in His hands and in His feet. As the crowd gathered 'round saying away with Him, But Jesus knew down in His heart, that He would live again. ( chorus) He has risen, He has risen, that old tomb is empty now. All that remains is graveclothes and blood stains, that old tomb, that old tomb is empty now. As He laid there in the tomb, the soldiers camped around, God was making plans, to send His angels down. They hurried down from heaven, and they didn't make a sound, But when the spirit spoke to Him, He got up and walked around. He has risen, He has risen, that old tomb is empty now. All that remains is graveclothes and blood stains, that old tomb, that old tomb is empty now. All that remains is graveclothes and blood stains, that old tomb , that old tomb is empty now!
Love the Unloveable! Loving The Unlovable If we love God we will indeed love one another, easy to do with a lovable sister or brother. But the unlovable are also to be loved unconditionally, not just by God but by you and me. Those who are spiteful and talk really mean, who knows the terrible things they’ve gone through or seen? Many walk around with a scowl on their face, the enemy may have them drowning in disgrace. Some who yell and scream most all the time, we have no idea the things that burden their minds. There are some who’ve been treated so terribly bad, that the only emotion they’ve ever experienced is sad. Some folks have never been loved before, or else the love offered to them would best be ignored. What some have been offered as love is evil indeed; these are the ones with the direst need. Loving the unlovable is indeed a very difficult task, but not impossible or God wouldn’t ask. It’s possible for those who surrender to God each day, seeking to love the unlovable in the purest way. ©March 23, 2007 Barbara Philbrook All Rights Reserved __._,_.___ God is Real!
God is Real! God is real, I see His face. I hear His voice, I feel His grace! I see Him in the flowers that bloom. He is here with us in this room. I feel His touch in a gentle breeze. I see His love in the trees. I hear Him speak in the ocean waves. He will not leave me all my days. I look for Him as I live each day. He's in my heart, He will always stay. So, as you walk down the road of life each day, look for God and His amazing grace. Feel His touch, feel His love, feel His Sonshine from above!© Dottie Burford
