When you
pray for something or for someone, make sure that your prayer communication line is open to the Lord. One thing that can block your prayers from being answered is your disobedience to the Lord or sin. Ask for forgiveness before you pray.

At our seminary one of the students called Samuel, who
had a Pentecostal background, loved to get up at three
a.m. to practice Psalm 5:3 "My voice shalt thou hear in
the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my
prayer unto thee, and will look up."
