My name is Garry. I'm a 46 year old homosexual christian male. I've been diagnosed with Mild Degenartive Arthritis, in the lower part of my back and it radiates down into my legs making it difficult to walk. I am to the point now where I have to use a cane everywhere that I go. But, I don't look at as a diease. I look at it as an oppprtunity to ministry to people. I'm open to the more non-traditional aspects of spirtiuality. We should be able to look at the inside of a person and not the outside. Because the heart is what GOD is looking at. Not the labels that we without thinking place on people. If you truly must, hate the sin and not the sinner. "Judge not lest you be judged with the same harshness with which you judge". I truly believe that you can be a non hetero-sexual and a christian at the same time. "You who knows no sin, cast the first stone". I believe and know that I can seperate the two. Yet, both of them are a part of my life. If your faith in GOD is strong, He will guide you down the right path. It's by the grace Of GOD that HE gives me and all of us the strength to keep moving on down this path that we call life. God doesn't make mistakes. I was made in HIS image. I can walk with my head high and say that I love the LORD with all of my heart,soul,mind and strength.
At present I'm not involved with anyone,But rather am patiently waiting for the right one to come along. I'm a really down to earth kind of guy. This person must be willing to take it one day at a time, as far as getting to know me. Be it, friend or companion.
Be well, live life to its fullest. Learn from your mistakes, they are a stepping stone to your future. There is no such thing as a stupid question, question everything.
It takes great courage to grow up and become who you really are meant to be. Look to your faith for guidance as you travel through Life's wonderful journey.
