Just wanted to let you know that I may not be on much for a couple of weeks.
I have a friend who has had open heart surgery yesterday and I am looking
after his kitty and apartment while he is gone. Please keep him in your prayers.

Hi my name is Marcia, and I am one of the many member volunteers on JCF. I wanted to let you know that the 'Home' page is full of info that you might be interested in checking out. There are lots of forums that you can post a Topic on to ask questions, offer something you find interest in, or you can just reply on someone else's thread to offer your opinion. We have a 'shout' box that you can send greetings and salutations on or even chat with other members. There is actually a 'chat' box to go to chat with other members. You can see who is online, who has a birthday today, and who has just joined so you can welcome them along with us other members. Also there is a Prayer Request forum and Praise forum that you can add your requests or you can check the forums to pray for or praise with our members. Some members have designed and added layouts for both the JCF style and myspace style pages that you can copy and paste to change the look of your page. There are a ton of backgrounds with the background code to insert/upload them to your page...you will have to change the color of the tables and text yourself ( JCF style has the generator on the Design My Profile Edit page).
I also wanted to let you know that one of our members is really creative at making name graphics...it is one of her gifts...she is very talented. Her name is 'duckee' and she is willing to make all the JCF members a name graphic if you ask. This is mine Just a little heads up...you can give her a couple of ideas for it, but she will take 'artistic' license with it. She is blessed to make you one, but after that she will ask for donations for her cause -- raising money for a little boy who needs a bone marrow transplant. She is very gifted and your name graphic will be beautiful or cute like mine...so no worries! :) If you are interested 'message' her. Click on my name graphic to go to duckee's page.
Please, if you are new to the internet, and you don't know much about html or have any problems with your page....then click the 'Please Help' link you will find in the Forums, or click on this link for the 'Help desk' http://www.jcfaith.com/default.php?sub_section=help . You can check "Tutorials/how tos" (also in the Forums) to find info to help design your page and add 'widgets' to your page (fun stuff). Back to the Layout forums...you just have to copy and paste, and you can have a beautiful page with no headache involved! :) In the background forum, I have uploaded a ton of this summer's blockbusters (movies) backgrounds. So click on the background forum to check them out. Maybe there is one you like. I have also made a few layouts using some of those backgrounds in both of the layout forums. Duckee, Greg, and Whitney have created/uploaded alot of cool loyouts too. If you have any questions, let me know.
