My Teddy Bear
Unknown
I have a little teddy bear
Who's always there for me,
When I need someone to talk to
He listens quietly.
He doesn't get mad or yell
Or ever put me down,
He never gets jealous or envious
And never has a frown.
When I need a hug he's there
Waiting with open paws,
His eye is broken, his arm is ripped
But I don't mind his flaws.
I love my little teddy bear
With his cute little face,
And if we were more like
Teddy bears the world
Would be a better place.

Avid Teddy Bear Collector. I am friendly although shy at first. I have a good sense of humor. I like the simple things in life. LIke the site of a breath taking waterfalls or a childs smile. I like walking and taking drives to no particular place. I like water and hope to someday see the ocean. I am a down to earth person and very sensitive to others feelings. I am an individualist.
What Kind Of Teddy Bear Are You?
You are the Old-Fashioned teddy bear. From generation to generation, you've managed to stay within the family. Sure, your a bit old but no one can really notice. You're experienced in all the hard time a teddy bear can undergo from rejection, growth, and storage. You're very wise and don't just love the children who play with you, but you protect them. Your Dilemma: Getting thrown away or burned. You've just been around so long, you never know when they might trash you. But you're not afraid. After all you've been through, you'll overcome it.

I like Teddy Bears, children and animals.
O, Teddy Bear
Jack Prelutsky
O, Teddy Bear, dear Teddy,
though you’re gone many years,
I recall with deep affection
how I nibbled on your ears,
I can hardly keep from smiling,
and my heart beats fast and glows,
when I think about the morning
that I twisted off you nose.
Teddy Bear, you didn’t whimper,
Teddy Bear, you didn’t pout,
when I reached in with my fingers
and I tore your tummy out,
and you didn’t even mumble
or emit the faintest cries,
when I pulled your little paws off,
when I bit your button eyes.
Yes, you sat beside me calmly,
and you didn’t once protest,
when I ripped apart the stuffing
that was packed inside your chest,
and you didn’t seem to notice
when I yanked out all your hair--
it’s been ages since I’ve seen you,
but I miss you, Teddy Bear.

I dislike all forms of child abuse.
She was only 5 years old!
Her dad was a drunk
Her mom was an addict
Her parents kept her
Locked in an attic
Her only friend
was a little toy bear
It was old and worn out
And had patches of hair
She always talked to it
When no one's around
She lays there and hugs it
Not a peep of sound
Until her parents
unlock the door
Some more and more pain
She'll have to endure
A bruise on her leg
A scar on her face
Why would she be
In such a horrible place?
But she grabs her bear
And softly crys
She loves her parents
But they want her to die
She sits in the corner
Quiet but thinking,
"Please God, why is
My life always sinking?"
Such a bad life
For a sad little kid
She'd get beaten and beaten
For anything she did
Then one night
Her mom came home high
And the poor child was beaten
As hours went by
Then her mom suddenly
Grabbed for a blade
It was sharp and pointy
One that she made
She thrusted the blade
Right in her chest,
"You deserve to die
You worthless pest!"
The mom walked out
Leaving the girl slowly dying
She grabbed her bear
And again started crying
Police showed up
At the small little house
Then quickly barged in
Everything quiet as a mouse
One officer slowly
Opened a door
To find the little girl
Lying on the floor
It must have been bad
To go through so much harm
But at least she died
With her best friend in her arms
