An Attitude of Love..Submitting to your Husband, The Holy Bible, A Purpose Driven Life

As an infant, I was diagnosed with a mild form of Cerebral Palsy. My condition affects my right limbs. When I was 13 years old my ackward walking gait created problems that affected my left hip. This problem resulted in four operations, concluding with my "good' hip being permanently fused. I also have asthma. Inspite of these conditions, I was able to, with the help of Almighty God, accomplish many things. I was told that by the time I was 30 I would be confined to a wheelchair... I am in my 50s and walk without any physical assistance;Thank You Lord!! I was able to graduate with my high school class on time, graduated from college, was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the AME Church, pastoring throughout PA and DE from 1978 to 1995. I fathered and raised, as a single parent, a daughter from the time she was ten months old (she is now a 22 years old with two children of her own). Presently, I have a beautiful wife, teach high school history at a private Christian School, and founded a church/ministry in the year 2003. The purpose of the ministry is to, first and foremost, bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to a dying world. Secondly, and I believe, just as significantly, this ministry will bring the word of salvation to those who are physically, developmentally and mentally challenged. Unlike many ministries, our ministry will invite the challenged to involve themselves in every aspect of church life.
