I have a wide musical taste sometimes, but tend to veer in two major directions. I favor contemporary gospel and prophetic praise and worship. Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, and Yolanda Adams are some favorites, but Richard Smallwood rocks a million times over. In case you don't know, he is known for fusing contemporary gospel and classical music into this powerhouse experience equal to none other. Ooooh... I also like the blues. My all time favorite is Joss Stone.

Hi! I am Katrina and I am 27. I came here as an alternative to myspace. I get tired of all the useless junk on there. So, here I am. You should know that I have a deep love for sign language. Probably more than I could begin to describe. I guess it started with my neighbor across the street. A nice older couple, Ruth and Bob. Bob was hard of hearing, and when I was younger I tried to sign at him across the street to see if he could understand me. Ruth told me one day that he would talk to her about me, and didn't want me to feel bad because he didn't understand sign language. He read lips, and could hear some things if you spoke loud enough. I learned to finger spell because of Sesame Street magazine. My parents got it for me when I was little. I wore that copy out because I took it out everyday in the summer to try and sign to Bob. Over the years, I would pick up little things. In one of the churches I attended when I was little, I used to sit as close as I could to the hard of hearing section and watch the service being signed. I loved it. After high school, I used to sign songs I learned at church when we were at home. I remember most of what I have learned. Several years back, I started learning again, and fingerspell like nobody's business. It's a wierd habit, but I started to fingerspell everything. I have been ever since. I finished my 1st sign language class at Sinclair this fall. I love it, it's a passion of mine.I am also a huge fan of martial arts. I really enjoy being able to take care of myself. All young women should learn martial arts. It would do them a world of good. I am really shy. It takes a long time for me to warm up to people. I wish this was different, and I am working on it, but still just a work in progress. Give me time. So, if I shy away from you, chances are good that it has nothing to do with whether or not I like you, but more about feeling out of my element. More than likely, you will have to approach me first. I won't be the first to make the move.If you want to know anything else, just ask. Few things are off limits about my life.

I like as stated above, Marital arts, sign language, organic foods, learning about medicine, all natural healthcare, naturopathy(natural medicine). I Love Cheese - really I do. Ask my family, I can't make a dish without it.
