I listen to a lot of everything... rock, country, praise music, blues, jazz, pop. I pretty much am in love with Christian music and COUNTRY! But the bands that i enjoy are: JEREMY CAMP, Todd Agnew, David Crowder, Relient K, Chris Tomlin, Greg Troyer (found him on myspace... love it!), HILLSONG, Derek Webb, Casting Crowns, Nichole Nordeman, DC Talk, Billie Holiday, 12 stones, Keith Urban, Lonestar, Garth Brooks, Josh Groban, Rascal Flatts, Jason Morant, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Third Day, Big Daddy Weave, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Pillar, Mercy Me, and many many more, but i loooooove anything with acoustic guitar! I'm a sucker for guitars and anyone who plays one, MY Acoustic guitar!

ABOUT ME

The name is Jennifer. People usually call me Jenn. My family calls me JenniferLauren. I was born in New Orleans, raised in the smallest town in Louisiana, Lacombe... hahah. I go to college at Southeastern Louisiana University. I plan to use my degree for Counseling (family and marriage counseling). I like to help any way I can. I plan to get my masters in FMC. I want to move to Birmingham, Alabama when I graduate. :) Christ is a huge part of my life and I try to be as focused as I can be on Him alone. He is the center of my life and everything I know and everything I am revolves around him. EVERYDAY IT SEEMS LIKE I FALL MORE IN LOVE WITH HIM... every breath I take, with every creation I see, makes me stand in awe of who God really is. He has given me a heart for His people. Through Christ, I want impact the lives of people around me and spur them on toward Christ.

I am a pretty simple girl that stands firm in what I believe. I am addicted to my Lord, watching movies on the couch, talking, reading, writing, and being goofy. I love watching scary movies as well as chick flicks and guy movies. I love to watch football, I can get quite excited about it. I am in love with a wonderful man by the name of Jesus Christ. I love to dance (professionally for 11 years) and sing. I love to praise God with everything that I do. I like to try my best in EVERYTHING I do, therefore some people call me a clean freak or a perfectionist... but I don't call it that... I just like everything to be right. Who wants a half-hearted job anyway?

I surrendered my life to Christ in 2002. :) The Lord is my shelter. He is everything to me. I strive everyday to walk in a way to please him, not man. The grace of God is amazing. His love covers ANYTHING I have ever done. Christ died so that I may live. He is the ulimate sacrifice; God's new covenant with HIS people. If you have any questions about it... ask me! I would love to talk to you about what my life is about!

...and beautiful you are. I like your spirit. If we could all understand the important of saying the same thing the WORD says we would get through some "stuff" quicker. The principle of calling those things that be not as though they were is a bit over board for some but.... isn't that what our Father told us to do! Luke 5:12 Thought for the Day: Why Accept Your Situation When You Can Pray? Reflection On This: Miracles Are Still Available A man with leprosy refused to accept his situation. He knew what he had, understood what that meant, but refused to see it as final. Knowing Jesus could make him whole, he saw no reason to live any longer as a leper. He was going to find Jesus and ask for a miracle. What conditions are there in your life that you have accepted as final? Why continue to suffer when we serve almighty God who still commands miracles? Go to the Lord, worship Him, and ask Him to correct your situation.
