MUSIC

I like just about ANY music that glorifies our Lord, but I dont care much for heavy, heavy metal. I especially like Praise and Worship. Darrell Evans, Alvin Slaughter and Third Day are among my favorite artists.

BOOKS

The Bible, of course, is my favorite book, but I will be the first to admit Im not reading it nearly as much as I need to, or should. I dont fint too much time to be able to sit and read, but the last book I read was... Miriam's Diary, I believe was the name of it. (an excellent book, btw)

Im happily married to my husband of 12 years. We have 4 children together, and I have 2 adult children from a previous marriage. All 6 kids live at home, and their ages range from 20 yrs to 10 weeks old. :) I am a full time wife and mom, and a homeschooler as well.

LIKES

I like quiet times spent with my husband and family (unfortunately, theres not much "quiet" in the house with 6 kids). I like going for drives to 'nowhere in particular', and walks. I also enjoy cooking, and surfing the internet in my spare time.

DISLIKES

I dont like video games!

Prayer for the Day

Dear Heavenly Father, I do want to be close to You, so help me to spend the time in prayer, and reading Your Word in order to make that a reality. And Lord, when You do speak something to my heart, help me to obey You and not resist the things You are asking me to do. Lord, I also want to be a peacemaker, so fill my mouth with Your Words of wisdom when I encounter an opportunity to minister to those who are opposed to each other. Also, help me to remain in peace with those in my circle of acquaintances. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer for the Day

Dear Father God, I am ever so grateful to have access to a reservoir of wisdom, counsel, and guidance in knowing You. I know when I have a problem I can ask You how to solve it, and You always have the perfect answer. Thank you for sending my answers in many different ways, and through many different people. I have been very blessed by the family of God, as they have reached out to help us in so many ways. I do appreciate the prayers of Your people. I also thank you for speaking to people to help us financially in this ministry. Lord, bless each person back in the form of their need. I thank You for my brothers and sisters in Christ. He was going to find Jesus and ask for a miracle. What conditions are there in your life that you have accepted as final?
