Dear God.... It is just me again. You know I have this group of friends That I need you to take care of and watch over. They are not from my town, And most are not even in the same state/province, In fact there are some that live in a different country. They are scattered all over the world. I met them on the Internet. We send e-mails to each other, And some I have even spoken to on the phone, But most of them, we will never meet face to face, However there are a few That I have been lucky enough to share a real hug with. It does not matter if we have met Or not these people are my friends. There is so much going on in the world, And it scares me, You see I care about these friends that I have met, And God that is why I am asking you T o please watch over them and protect them. I would never have imagined that I could care and even love someone That I have only met online. The truth is loving and truly caring about a person Begins in the heart, and it stays inside of the heart. I ask you God to give my friends Health, happiness and peace, Please take care of them, and guide them. Through the Internet I have been so blessed to have found friends From all over the world. I have learned that although some of us Have different beliefs and we live differently, .. We are so much alike, All hoping for the same things in life, True happiness. Please God, Bless each one of these friends That have touched my life in one way or another. Forgive those God that have hurt others, Help them learn the true meaning of Love and Friendship. I know that each person That I have met through the Internet Has been placed in my path for a reason, So I ask you once again God, Protect them, guide them, Keep them safe, love them and Bless them throughout the Day,Week, Month And Year, In Jesus Name.

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer and started his journey. When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her some chips. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word. As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, 'What did you do today that made you so happy?' He replied, 'I had lunch with God.' But before his mother could respond, he added, 'You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!' Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, 'Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?' She replied, 'I ate potato chips in the park with God.' However, before her son responded, she added, 'You know, he's much younger than I expected.' Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Embrace all equally! Have lunch with God.....bring chips.

Prayer for the Day

Dear Heavenly Father, I do want to be close to You, so help me to spend the time in prayer, and reading Your Word in order to make that a reality. And Lord, when You do speak something to my heart, help me to obey You and not resist the things You are asking me to do. Lord, I also want to be a peacemaker, so fill my mouth with Your Words of wisdom when I encounter an opportunity to minister to those who are opposed to each other. Also, help me to remain in peace with those in my circle of acquaintances. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer for the Day

Dear Father God, I am ever so grateful to have access to a reservoir of wisdom, counsel, and guidance in knowing You. I know when I have a problem I can ask You how to solve it, and You always have the perfect answer. Thank you for sending my answers in many different ways, and through many different people. I have been very blessed by the family of God, as they have reached out to help us in so many ways. I do appreciate the prayers of Your people. I also thank you for speaking to people to help us financially in this ministry. Lord, bless each person back in the form of their need. I thank You for my brothers and sisters in Christ. Bless them all and meet their needs. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
