[my life]
I should say "the life GOD has given me"!!! My name is TROY. I am a simple man who has been blessed with much from GOD. I am married to my best friend going on 27 years! I am the father of two wonderful grown men (ages 25 and 18). I live in a semi-rural area of North Carolina and would not trade any of it for all the gold in the world. Yep... gifts from GOD!

[my faith]
I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior at the age of 11. GOD has protected me through the years as I have encountered my own trials and tribulations in life: exposure to drugs; exposure to alcoholism; peer pressure; acceptance through gang activity; doubts about my faith; doubts about my purpose; trusting the world vs. GOD; financial woes... you get the picture. I am no different than any other person walking this planet. The kewl thing is that GOD never abandoned me even though I looked eleswhere for answers at various stages in my life.

[my work]
I currently work with a private, non-profit company as a network administrator/system administrator. I have a really kewl group of people I work with every day. The big part I love about my work is that it is making a difference with the lives of folks with developmental disabilities.

[my ministry]
hhmmmmm.... where to start. GOD has given us all gifts and talents to serve his kingdom. Let's say that I am just trying to drown out the noise of the world and obey the direction GOD wants me to go. This journey has taken me through some interesting territory; to include starting the myspace ministry. Bottom line... he leads and I will follow. :D

I am a firm believer that we, GOD's creation, are designed to be relational. In other word's we are wired to reach out for others in this world. It is an awesome thing when geographical barriers are broken among GOD's kids and they connect with one another..... we are meant to connect.

If we can only keep our grip on the sure thing we started out with, we're in this with Christ for the long haul.
