I love doing a lot of things, but my most favorite hobby are my nieces, and spending as much time with them, as I can. :-)

Wow! Too many to list, but my all time favorite is the Bible. It is the most practical and satisfying material.

I'm a Happy, Happy, person... maybe too happy (naturally happy that is). I love to laugh. I love people, entertaining guests in my home, and cooking. I adore my two beautiful nieces. I love the Word of God, and applying it to every day situations. I am happily single. I was married at one time (a long time ago). No regrets. We grew apart with very different interests, after I became a Christian. I have a lot of friends, but maybe a 1/2 dozen that I would say are very close. I have 2 other siblings (brothers). My parents are deceased. I lost them some time ago, and a sister in 1993. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and friends, cooking and traveling. I've seen such beauty across this country. I am a Born Again, Spirit Filled Christian, and a diehard American. I vote every election and participate in political rallies of those parties I feel strongly about. I will start flying lessons this fall (classes were cancelled / updated 10/08/06) Maybe in the Spring. I cannot wait to pilot a plane. This is one of those adventures on my list I want to do. I am completing my Theology degree online. I love music, and musical instruments, of which I can play a few. As much as I can enjoy being in a crowded room with a lot going on, I also very much enjoy quiet nights at home. Snuggling up with a good book, my favorite comforter, and a hot cup of tea is complete for me. My heart reaches out to the unfortunate in life. I do not look down on them, but rather realize that I am where I am only by the Grace of God. Anyone one of us could find ourselves in unfortunate situations. I love where I live. Charlotte is a great city. Just a couple of miles outside of Charlotte, you will find yourself on some beautiful country roads. I have the best of both worlds here. I am originally from Long Island, New York. Born and raised there. I lived by the beach my whole youth and adult life. I've been in the south now about 13 years. My first southern residence was Virginia. Another beautiful state. Probably the most beautiful. At almost 45 years old, I've figured some things out and I plan to move forward in life. Life is great, and I really mean that. We do not always wake up to perfect days, that's part of life, but I prefer to live life to its' fullest. All things eventually work together for good. I like looking at my glass half full rather than half empty. It's easy to find what's wrong, but it takes more character to find those things that are good and right.

I love the Outdoors, and remaining active. I enjoy hiking, and long walks on the beach. I love a really good work out at my gym. I can easily kill a couple of hours at my local Barnes and Nobel. You would often find me curled up on one of their chairs with my shoes kicked off, a stack of books in front of me at least a foot high, with a Latte from Starbucks. I love the simple things in life, including those things we take for granted like the warmth of the sun shinning on my face, the way the grass and trees smell after the rain, the sound of my nieces laughing, etc. Family is also very important to me. I lost my sister when she was 27 back in 1993, and my parents followed 2 years after her. You learn by such loss to appreciate what you have now around you. I've learned to have a strong passionate interest in life and living that life to its' fullest, prayerfully to the Glory of God.

I am uncomfortable with self righteous, stiff necked Christians. The Pharisee type, that does nothing more than quench the work of the Holy Spirit. I also do not like liars, or people that break promises, and are unable to stand by their Word. Other than that, everything else is cool with me.
