I told a woman several years ago that her gossip was hurting people - She just contacted me and told me that she forgave me - I didn't want her to forgive me - I wanted her to stop gossiping. GAG! (BTW - she hasn't changed)

I agree with you that gossip hurts people. Now what if she were to read 'this'? :(
If I were you I'd tell her "Thanks" and that you forgive her as well.
