Personally, I find myself allying with Obama on most of the issues. So, I'm most likely going to vote for him in November.  Not set in stone though.

Sure. I agree with him on the war in Iraq, the economy, the special interests in washington, stopping real work from getting done, the environment, offshore drilling, and on education.

ok well for the war in Iraq i dont think i agree with him because after doing some research obama believes that we should merely talk to the man in charge over there and that should change things. How i see it is we shouldnt talk to them because we already went over there and started a war with them they are not simply going to talk to us knowing the human nature theya re going to want revenge. I do believe Obama is a very educated man but some of the things he stands for i dont believe in but what is spoken in the bible must come to past. I like mccain a lil bit more but true he is getting old and if he dies then a woman will be in power and i am totally against the woman as presidents1 Thank u for sharing ur opinion and carrying on a mature debate with me because some people who i try to talk with about these issues get very defensive and blow up at me! THANX AND PLEASE WRITE ME BACK AND TELL ME WHAT U THINK ABOUT WHAT I SAID!

Well, first off I just want to say that your welcome,jesus_freak. I also can't stand when someone whines or gets overly defensive in a debate and I'm glad that we can have a mature conversation about this. Now,as to your remarks about Obamas Iraq poilicy,I must say that I'm a little confused. Obama's plan calls for a responsible phased withdrawal out of Iraq. A residual force would be kept in Iraq to protect diplomats and civillians. This should help to enable the second part of his plan to shift the responsibility of the nation from the United States to the Iraqi government. Now,it is true that Obama does wish to talk with all of the neighbors of Iraq, like Syria and Iran. However, such talks I believe are essential to keeping the peace and stability in the area. Obama would also provide two billion dollars to help with humanitarian aid in the region. Now,about the other remarks you made,I too believe that its going to be hard to have stability in Iraq, which is why I was opposed to us ever going to war with them in the first place. I also don't agree with Obama on every issue either. He has some beliefs that I don't personally subscribe to but I'm with agreement with him far more than I am with McCain about issues.

To be truthful, I do not either candidate and was aondering wether to even vote, ut I know that it is my responsiblility.  I like McCains fiscal poilcies, while many conservatives do not like him because he opposed the tax cuts, I like the reason he opposed them.  It was not the cuts he was against, but the lack of spending cuts from the Fed gov to correspond with the cuts.  The tradional Rep party has always been less government, but not the Bush era.  I like McCain stance about the war in Iraq, while I desagreed with the war in the first place, not that is was not needed, but because America does not have the will power for a sustained war and because the plan did not consider the time frame involved in the war.  But now we cannot just pull out and hope that things will stand up or as Obama put it, If it gets bad again we can just go back in (during the primaries).  If it gets bad again then they will be entrenched and harder to get out.  We needed more force in the first place as the surge showed.

As for Obama the diferences are not economices, although I disagree, he has promised so much and is still going to cut takes, not and pay for his promises, or is it his policy about Iraq, although I do not think he undestands the realities of global policy and dealing with different cultures.  The real problem I have with Obama is a moral issue and that is the right of life that every human has even those who are unborn.  I cannot support someone who goes against Gods law about the sacred nature of life and I believe that we as a country we be judged in our failure to protect the innocent and helpless in our society.

this was a bust that had been coming for awhile.  With so many people living beyond what they could really afford, it only need something to set of the collapse of the financial induxtry.  Then with CEO more worried about making money than actually making thier company strong the market was bound to fall.  The question comes on how to resolve the problem or how does an individual ride it out.  The first thing is to get rid of debt as fast as possible, listen to Dave Ramsey sometime about debt.  then not to panic and follow the crowd, there are also people making money during this time and not through corporate greed but wise money management.  The same thing happened in the great depression and all we hear of is the bad stuff, but there were a lot of people who improved themselves during that hard period.  I do think we are in for some harder days ahead and with the government rushing to bail everyone out it may actually be worse and longer than it should be.  One interseting senerio that is setting up is how much of the world is coming together on this problem.  It really shows how connected the world has become and how quickly a united "one" world could develop.  The market should have some record ups and downs for a while, until everyones attention is on something else and then it will finally stablize.  Of course this is just my opinion.
