After being released from the death grip of the Egyptians God's people had to wonder in the wilderness for 40 years...until that entire generation was passed on to the next one. Even after everything God had done for them they continued to rebel against Him and not completely surrender to Him. So before entering the Promise Land everyone, including Moses had to die. That generation was passed up and Joshua led the people into the Promise Land... I don't want my generation to be like that... Let's take a stand and be all that God has called us to be.I want to see something happen in my generation,I don't want my promise given to another! ...Will You Take A Stand For Your Generation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God, the creator of all the universe...created You!!!

Dancing Generation By Matt Redman You mercy taught us how to dance To celebrate with all we have And we'll dance to thank You for mercy Your glory taught us how to shout To lift Your name in all the earth And we'll shout to the praise of Your glory It's the overflow Of a forgiven soul And now we've seen You, God Our hearts cannot stay silent And we'll be a dancing generation Dancing because of Your great mercy, Lord Your great mercy, Lord And we'll be a shouting generation Shouting because of Your great glory, Lord Your great glory, Lord Hey have you heard this song? My youth choir just sang it on Sunday and while I was reading your post and thinking about that song the person on the Christian radio station that I'm listening to mentioned our generation. Very interesting

I'm totally with you. have you ever heard gift of cool by Rock 'N' Roll Worship Circus? here are the lyrics. you should check it out some time. it's a good song. Gift of Cool i remember the day when the love of God landed in our twon He took all the silent and broken hearts, fized them up and gave them a sound you had almost every different kind of kid from every different kind of social background taking all the cool they had and praising God, as He spun them around when God came to town... and the people in our churches, they were constantly amazed at the kids kneeling at the altar with their different fashion flares you had squares, preps, and skater punks, goths and techno-ravers and the tattooed kids with colored hair...and they wer all getting saved you think the 60's had good vibrations? well, check out my generation... we will run and never stop yeah, we all will stand together taking everything we are and then praising Him forever well, anyone and everyone, come and join us for a good time we are breaking all the rules by praising God will your Gift of Cool... suddenly almost every kid in town had finally found their way to take all the gifts and talents ane beauty tehy had and worship God every day man, you had all the high school parties, and they were turning them into whorship raves and the sounds of the underground in town had turned to praise when Your people sing, all of heaven sings... so sing! is that cool? lift your hands up to the sky yeah, we all will sing together taking everything we are and then praising Him forever
I will take him from my shoe singing 'meet your new road'.

God has been searching to and fro for a people that will lay it all aside, but not like their predecessors before them. He is desiring a people that will forget about petty religion and hopeless tradition and man-made methods. God is calling you, a generation of youth to take a stand in the midst of a world covered in darkness and a church shrouded in confusion and separation, and live for His kingdom and His righteousness (see Matthew 6:33 for one of many Scripture verses pointing to this). When a people will come together, bound under the banners of love and purity, God will release His power like a tidal wave, and it will overtake all around. Your cities, your schools, your friends and churches will all experience an overflowing of the Spirit. We must return to relationship; if we can learn to set aside our intellects for just a moment, and look at this simple word relationship means, we will find ourselves standing at a crossroad. I have learned over the last couple of years that if our relationship with God is in order, everything else, from ministry to school, from family to friends, all will f,all into it's rightful place. Why have we made it so difficult? Perhaps this is a bit confusing, I probably could have thought it over a bit more before typing, but I was just flowing as it came out. I hope you can make some sense out of it.
It's a lifestyle, not a fad!
