I heard this Blue October song "Hate Me" and it's become a very popular song. I kinda like the beat, but usually I'm into the music where the people are screaming, you know like bands like Metalica, Slipknot, etc etc. Plus, the words to "Hate Me" is weird, even the title is weird. Why would you ask someone to hate you? I mean seriously! But I started to think, in one part of the song it goes: (Verse 3) And with a sad heart I say bye to you and wave Kicking shadows on the street for every mistake that I have made And like a baby boy I never was a man Until I saw your blue eyes cry and I held your face in my hand And then I fell down yelling make it go away, Just make her smile come back and shine just like it used to be And then she whispered "How can you do this to me?" But if you read all of the lyrics, he's actually singing to his mother! I tried to picture this in my mind, and then, I couldn't picture him and his mother,but God and me! Just hate me and things will be better for you!" But God will never stop loving me, and He asks, "How can you say or think such a thing? You are my child, I will always love you." We need to accept God's gift, not deny it. Don't let Satan take advantage of guilt!!
