hello.

my name is jessica.

i'm 20 years old and lost in life.

i have been struggling with depression probably my whole life but more so this past year.  this year i started taking perscription meds for it and it has helped with the physical problems i was having.  but other then that it doesn't do much.  i feel like i live in a circular room with many doors, but all the doors lead to dead ends.  i eventually walk out of the room when i realize i'm not getting anywhere and choose another door.  but i just keep going in circles.  there are no new doors, just old ones.  i feel like my life has no purpose.  i often have thoughts of suicide but have not attempted that.  i feel like the only reason i am alive and the only way i'm going to make a difference in this world is if i die.

i was raised in a christian home...well halfway anyway.  my mom is, my dad had a falling out with god when i was young.  i know that jesus is the answere, but still i fail to see why he wants me here.  it's hard for me to get out of bed.  i feel so helpless and hopeless and i just want to go to be with him in heaven.

 

ANY HELP?  ANY ADVICE? ANY ENCOURAGEMENT?

IT COULD SAVE MY LIFE.

Honi, Jesus can and will save you from these feelings.

I will pray for you, there is more power in prayer then anything else we can do to help you.

I dont think you need advice, just for some sisters to come in and tell you how special you are. You might not see it yet........thought you walk through the valley of darkness and you feel your life has no meaning and every wich way you turn the doors are closed, God is walking with you and there is a higher purpose as to why you are feeling this way.

 

Hang in there, your feelings will change and God will reveal to you all of his goodness!! You are loved and cared about, hugs dear and just look up up up and not down!~

A closed door is your chance to stay where you are for a moment and learn. I have always said, we are given some bad times in our lives so we can see and truly enjoy the good times. I think that is a blessing for us who live in the flesh. God bless you and I hope you feel better.

I just prayed for you..Hang in there hun. Suicide isn't the answer. It only gets worse if you do. I think every Christian, goes through those stages, as to what is their purpose in Life. I know I've questioned it many times.

Just know, That JESUS DOES LOVE YOU!...and he hates to see you this way. Your purpose here is  to please him. If you haven't done so already, then I suggest you to read "The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren" It has helped me figure out my purpose in life.

Take Care Sweetie, and please finish the race... The reward will be amazing.

Heavenly Father,

When it seems that we are actually, finally at our wits' end... and we've seen the end of all that we can do, that is when you are at your nearest, your most miraculous, your best. Sometimes, the road we trudge seems destined to be dusty and desolate forever. And yet, just around the corner, just over the next hill, we see new life, we see hope. I pray for this hope for those who [are depressed].

May you bring them what they need, that they may once again be dancing on this earth.

Jesus said that he is the door,that the only way to the father is through him, We are nothing without him in him we live and have our being,he died on the cross for our sins  and he sent us his promise of the holy spirit ,to live and dwell in us our body is the temple of the holy spirit,you see this is what God tells us to seek first ,seek ye first the kingdom of God,and what is in right standing with him, then all these things will be added unto you,you see Jesus said that the kingdom of God is with in you,so you ask yourself whats in you ? His holy spirit!Your body is the temple of the holy spirit,we have to die to our fleshly ways and start walking in his ways, you see we are not our own,if the same spirit that be in Christ Jesus dwell in you it will quicken our mortal body by his spirit that dwelles in you.This will be the same spirit that will raise you up when we die,we were never ment to be seperated from God,Be filled with the spirit speaking to yourselfs in Psalms and hyms spiritual songs making melody in your heart to the Lord.Put on the Garment of praise for the spirit of heavyness ,you will feel it lift off of you,he is the way the truth and the life,he is our praise! he is our strength! And we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength!

Jessica, I am praying for you. 20 years ago that letter could have been written by me during my times of struggles. I too thought that I had no purpose here on earth and that I was unlovable but I stand here now to tell you that is not true. I was not sure what to do so I started first by finding a church that loved the Lord, then I surrounded myself with Christian people. It wasn't too long before I felt God's love and knew that he had been with me the whole time. Jessica, I pray that no matter what your answer is, that you know we are all praying for you and are lifting you up to God for his Holy intervention- You are never alone- God loves you. Check this out ok... You already have victory!! Praise God!! Through the power of the Holy spirit and through the prayer from all of the people who have read your words and prayed I stand in belief with them right now that you are being delivered from this bondage!! You have Victory in the name of Jesus!

 

You talk about all these doors and through my spirit I recieve this on your behalf....The doors represent the false hope of the world and the God sized hole in your heart! I have been right where you are at! I know that emptyness as well...but it is not of God! God seeks to deliver you from all of this right now!! Open your mouth and speak with your tongue and confess unto the Lord these things which you are holding onto and let go!! Offer him into your heart and He will not hesitate!!

Your life has purpose!! no one else can fulfill the exact plan that He has for you except you!! It is easy to look at the bad things and not see the big picture but you got to!! No one can do this but you!! You have strength over any situation through Christ!! As an ambasador and bondservant of Christ Jesus I come boldly with a pettition for our heavenly Father...I stand on your word Father and I know that I have the authority in the name of Jesus to come boldly to ask for a complete deliverience of this situation!! I rebuke any evil that is attacking this child of yours and I ask that you send a sworm of angels to post a wall of deffense around her at this very moment! Hey Dude... You may not think you have a purpose right now, but I just want you to know that YOU are an answer to a prayer that I have been praying for a long time. I have been praying for a Christian friend for sooooo long and I don't believe it was an accident that Denise introduced us at APWAP. I have been through deep depression and attempted suicide and I can say that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I also know how horrible you feel and how hopeless life can seem. Sux that we never seem to have coexisting free time, but you can come hang out w/ me at work any time or call whenever you want to. I don't think we would be able to have a friendship if you were dead...  Your life means something to me. I need you, so don't be thinking you're of no value here!!

Corny as this is... Our lives are all mountains and valleys. When we're doing great we're on top of the mountain and we wish we could stay up there. But when we go up we have to come down sometime. If you notice up there on that mountain top nothing grows. It's rocky and barren. Yeah the view is great but down in the valley is where the real beauty is. That's where everything grows! You have a purpose and I have no doubt you'll know what it is before too long.
