Well, My husband has been offered a position in Farmington, New Mexico. If we can get our medical insurance paid he will be moving soon. They want him there by December 10th. If anyone on here is from that area, Please write to me about what its like there. We also need to come up with money for him to travel. Gas is so expensive. If this is truly God's will for us, this is what we will do. If not God needs to give us a sign to not do this. I cannot join him and will remain here. So many things about this have me feeling unsure and worried. I will miss him terribly. I really hate being alone! At least I have my dogs though. Please keep us in your prayers.

If this is God's Will... God WILL provide! You have brought this before God and there is no one who could handle any situation better than he! So trust him and believe that he will always take care of you! :o)

I just got this devotional from Joel Osteen and I have to share it. God always seems to use something to wake me up when I am feeling sorry for myself.

Thanks to all who are praying for us. We still haven't come up with the money to pay our health insurance....I am going to try asking our church for help today...Its really hard for me to ask for help...pride I guess..but asking for $810.00 dollars is so hard to do.

Lift Your Eyes

Today's Scripture

I will lift up my eyes to the hills, from where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Maker of heaven and earth" (Psalm 121:1-2).

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

What are you looking at today? Are there challenges in your life to overcome? Don't just look at your problems day in and day out, lift up your eyes and look toward heaven. You will naturally move in the direction that your eyes are looking. If you are always looking at your problems-meditating on them, feeling sorry for yourself, telling everybody about them-you will become consumed by them. But when you look up, your life will start to move up. When you keep your eyes on Jesus, it is also a sign of your faith and expectancy. The Bible tells us that faith is what moves the hand of God. When you have an attitude of faith and expectancy, you open the door for His power in your life. Decide today to focus on the goodness of our God. Lift your eyes and heart to Him and begin to praise Him with your words. As you lift your eyes, your help will come, and you will live the victorious life He has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, today I choose to lift my eyes to You. I will look to You for my help. Thank You for showing me Your salvation and deliverance. I bless You today in Jesus' Name. Amen

Lori,

I do pray , and know that the Lord's will , will be done in this situation.

Keep your eyes fixed on him, and watch, and listen for the the right sign.....he does send them.

Lori, I will definitely keep this in my prayers. You have brought it before the Lord, now depend on Him for an answer.

 

Dear Jesus, You, and only You, know the problem that Lori and her hubby are facing regarding this new job offer. I bring this to You for You to solve for them. They are seeking a sign from You as to whether he should take this job or not and whether Lori should go with him or not. Lord, You have told us that You would provide our every need if we just ask. Give them the sign they are asking for so they know what they should do. This is a big undertaking for them, a long move across country, away from home and family. I'm sure there is a lot of trepidation in this job offer because of leaving home and family; send them a comforting sign that all will be well if they are to make this move. I thank You in advance for what You have done and what I know You will do for Lori and her husband in this matter, if it be Your will. Put Satan in his place so that he cannot start an assault on them while they are at a weak point in their lives. Send Your Holy angels to surround, guide, guard, and protect them so they might know and feel Your presence with them during this time of trial. Grant them the strength, courage, comfort, and rest they so need, desire and deserve. Wrap them in Your sweet, tender, loving, protective arms so they might know and realize You are in charge of this and all situations in their lives. You have always told us that where 2 or more join together and ask, it shall be done, so I now join my prayers with those of the other prayer warriors here and CLAIM that promise for I know You never break a promise.
