Please pray for my stepson Jonathan.  He is 17 and got with the wrong crowd. He is so close in graduating.. Please pray that he will make the right decisions and let God use Him for His purpose and That as his family that we wil remain strong and help jonathan in what he needs.

FATHER IN JESUS NAME THE PEOPLE THIS YOUNG MAN IS AROUND, OPEN HIS EYES AND LET HIM SEE THEY ARE NOT CHRISTIAN TYPE PEOPLE AND HE NEEDS TO STAY CLEAR, LORD I ASK THAT YOU LET HIM MEET SOME PEOPLE THAT WILL BE TRUE FRIENDS AND CHRISTIAN AND KEEP HIM IN SCHOOL AND DONT LET HIM GET IN TROUBLE. AND FATHER IN JESUS NAME I ASK THAT YOU TOUCH HIS PARENTS AND LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE TAKING CARE OF HIM AND THIS PROBLEM IN JESUS NAME.  THANK YOU LORD THANK YOU.

I know exactly what you are going through, I went through that with my own son. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

 

Dear Jesus, You know the plight of this family. Take hold of this young man and keep him on the right track so that he might graduate. Show him that the people he is hanging with are not the type of people he should be spending time with. Help him to stay on the right course and to meet some good Christian friends so that he might be able to see the difference in people. Give him strength to resist the bad people he is hanging with. Give his whole family the strength they need to deal with this ordeal. Give them the comfort and rest they so need and deserve. Wrap them in Your sweet, tender, loving, protective arms so that they might feel Your presence and know that You are very much in charge of this and all situations. Keep the devil at bay as he tries so desperately to take hold of this young man, for we know You are the only one who can defeat him. Show this family Your Divine mercy and love. This I ask in Your Holy name,    AMEN

Father, I'm praying for Jonathan and others in his circle of family and friends who are lonely...

Help them to reach out, to put themselves in a position to find friends who can become closer than brothers. When they're lonely, don't let them withdraw but help them be willing to meet with others whenever they can, especially in churches. Help them become others-centered, genuinely serving and caring for others. (Proverbs 18:24b; Hebrews 10:25; Galatians 5:13b)

When they are physically distanced from family and friends, help them stay connected over the miles however they can, so they'll each know how the other is. (Ephesians 6:22)

More than anything, help them live in a close, personal relationship with You, knowing You better and loving You more everyday. May they come near You, for if they do, You've promised You'll come near them. Teach them what it means to live in Your love, searching for You with all their hearts, for You've promised they'll find You. (1 John 1:3; James 4:8a; John 15:9; Jeremiah 29:13)

Help them to know You not only as their Lord and God but as their brother and friend. (Jeremiah 9:24a; John 10:14; 20:28; Romans 8:29b; John 15:15)

Dear Heavenly Father,

 I lift up Your son to you Lord.  I pray Lord that you open his eyes to see that the people he is hanging out with Lord are not good for him. I pray Holy Spirit that you Lead him and counsel him. Showing him the things that are not good for him.

As a mother to 3 young boys, I worry about this happening to them when they get older.  I know God still answeres prayers and I am definitely praying for you and your son.
