So I just graduated in February with my Bachelors of Science in Multimedia with a specialization on 3D. Yet, here I am.. still finding it incredibly difficult to find a job in my field, working at Wal*Mart. Is this often the case? Does anyone know?

I'm still in college and I'm majoring Interactive Media Design. At my school they offer assistance for find a job to both graduating and alumni students. Did the school you went offer job search assistance? I know for schools that do offer assistance it isnt guaranteed that they can find all students a job. I hear sites like Monster.com come in handy.

*Swats this thing since it didnt post the reply* Actually I am on Monster, on Jobbing and a few other sites like that, I check things like Craigslist.org and SDJobs.com all the time. I have a Job Placement Advisor at my school but she has not really been that much help, I mean shes given my resume to a few jobs.. but I havnt really gotten any leads but my own and even then they always find someone who either has a year more experience than myself (even if its a entry level job) which I dont understnad or someone whos asking less money than I am. (And from what my placement advisor said I am already asking as low as I should)

My first job out of College was at a grocery store, then Enterprise leasing, I settled on landscaping and waitering until I decided to go get my masters. So yeah it is normal! My buddy who just graduated said the same thing you did. He works for a septic company right now until our classes start. Honeslty though if you keep your eyes and ears open through work, people at church and friends who are in the working world you will find something. Maybe not right away, but you will. Also remember that God has a job for you to do on this earth. That doesn't necessarily mean full-time ministry. The majority of followers of Christ in the early church were not scholars. That's because i can go to seminary all I want, but seminary won't teach me how to love and serve people. Well I hope it works out for you.
A beautiful collision
