Minneapolis Bridge Collapses into Mississippi River

 

Boats make their way around the Mississippi River while looking for survivors of the bridge collapse.

 

Dozens of vehicles were on the bridge when it suddenly collapsed.

 



Minneapolis fire apparatus are staged in the background on the East bank of the Mississippi river, close to the collapse area.






Emergency crews work to extricate a victim that was trapped in an SUV on the east side of the collapse.





 Medical workers and bystanders offered medical aid to dozen of victims that were removed from the scene.





 Firefighters survey several of the cars that were damaged by the bridge collapse.




A rescue boat makes it way around the rubble of the collapse, while searching for vicims in the Mississippi River.
