My husband and I are recovering addicts.  We got lost in a pill bottle for a long time.  We are starting to get past all of that now.  We just started our walk in Christ a couple of weeks ago.  Please keep us in your prayers as we fight to get our kids back and stay strong in the Lord.

Thank you for sharing with us. I am soooo happy that you
have both turned your lives over to Christ. He is a wonderful,
kind and forgiving God and He will see you through this time
of recovery. Don't be afraid to call on Him. He will hear your
cries and give you strength.

I will be praying for both of you as you begin your journey
(both in your recovery and your walk with God.)

God's Blessings to you,
Sheril

May others see God's light shining through me.

Our God is an awesome God.

Take each day as it comes and know God is always working.
I am here if ya need an ear .
I am a recovering Alcoholic, who reconnected with God
8 years ago. My life has turned around so much for the better.
Just know u r never alone.

Peace*hugs & Prayers Donna

Psalm 130:5
5 I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
and in his word I put my hope.

Psalms 46: 1-4
God is our hope and strength,
a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will we not fear, though the earth be moved,
and though the hills be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though the waters thereof rage and swell,
and though the mountains shake at the tempest of the same.

There is a river, the streams whereof make glad the city of God,
the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.

Welcome, welcome!!! I praise God for you and your husband coming to Christ and I pray that He will continue to encourage your hearts and keep you under His wings. My husband was in the pill bottle for many years and he has come a long way in his recovery. We were christians before it all started and rededicated our lives to Him after all the insanity had died down. He is now two years clean and on a recovery program. God spared us the heartache of the CPS becoming involved and our daughter is grown and has her own family now. There are a few hurts that haven't healed yet, but God is still working on those with us. I praise God for every day he has clean and free from addiction. As I do for you two. I will keep you both in my prayers and your children. God bless and keep the faith, God will provide all that you need.

I am in agreement wit prayer for you........be strong and know, that through Christ you are stronger then he that is in this world (devil and his schemes)

Keep your eyes focused on him and as one of the members said, take every need, every doubt and every tear to Jesus!

1Peter 5:7  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Phil 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

John 16:23-24 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.  Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
