I Just recently lost my job.  I feel really bad because i was working in  ministry, I was a christian leader, and I did not obey the rules, I worked in a teen facility, and I had 3rd shift, I talked to the girls after lights out, and was put on probation for it, then when i was corrected for it i did not handle it well, i was a little disresectful, and then lost my job,   I also had a lack of meekness,

 I just pray for a new job, and for the enemy to stop calling me a failure, I know I was not ready for that job when i took, it, but I feel bad because christian leaders should not fail.

First of all - and I hate to be the one to have to tell you this but - YOU ARE NOT PERFECT!!!!

Christian leader or not, you are HUMAN and none of us humans are perfect! Yes, we are to STRIVE for perfection but we mess up every day! I sometimes feel as though I mess up every minute!

So, quit beating yourself up about that. As for what you did wrong, at least you are willing to admit it. Ask the Lord to forgive you and He will. Now, I will tell you like I always tell my daughter (who will be 21 next month) - as long as you LEARN from this and don't do the same thing again then the Lord can use it to make you STRONGER.

DO NOT LET THIS GET YOU DOWN - that is nothing but Satan telling you lies. Trust me, he would love nothing better than for you to keep beating yourself up over this but DON'T. Don't give him that satisfaction. Remember whose child you are and let the Lord fight your battles for you.

You sound like someone who truly learned from what she did and you even admitted that you weren't ready for that job when you took it. HOWEVER, use this to grow in maturity and let the Lord lead you where He wants you next.

You will be fine and you will overcome this and be stronger for it. I will remember you in my prayers.

I will be praying for you.  Remember who you belong to and God will give you the strength to go on.

I ditto what Kathryn just told you.  We are forgiven by by no means are we perfect.  I worked as the church secretary for 6 years and let me tell you, no one is perfect.  The fact that you are willing to admit your mistake shows a great level of maturity.  So give it to God and let it go completely.  God throws it into the sea of forgetfullness.  Once there, you can't retrieve it back.  I pray that God will provide you with the job that works well for you.

My sweet neice, Tasha. I am very sorry to hear that you lost your job. I know you liked it, Take it from your Aunt Marcia. Everyone who has answered before me are totally right. We all fail, and the enemy wants you to feel like a failure and cause you to get your eyes off God. God has better for you. Hey! call your Grandpa Weaver, because he has been wanting to see you. He even told me on the phone the other day that he was going to come see you. Maybe you can stay with him a few days honey until you are back on your feet. Let me know if you need his number. I wish Rudy and I were closer to you you could stay with us till you found a job. Please let me know how you are, and where you will stay. Also does your Mom know? Hey! why haven't I heard from you, I've been sending you comments. Ha! I know you have been busy. I will be praying for you. I Love you honey.
