I really don't want to sound like a humbug or anything, but my genuine advice is that if you're in highschool, don't worry about the opposite sex. 99% of the time it's just a waste of time. That's just my humble opinion.

I have to echo their sentiments about light dating in HS. Remember that there is very little chance of you marrying your high school sweety. If you choose to date, then keep it light and easy. Don't get involved physically and learn to develop healthy relationships with guys. It will prepare you for the future.
