This is my testimony which I wrote into a poem. This poems signifies how I was lost, and how I came to know the Lord. How Could I Have Known Life's a dark tunnel. The only way out is to find the light. I looked and looked, but saw only darkness. I had no hope, so I turned to dope for the comfort and the peace I needed. How could I have known that all the pain and hurt I felt, and all the tears I cried at night, that there was someone always by my side. How could I have known that the night I tried to take my life someone never left my side. how could I have known that the night I sent my kids to church my life was going to take a turn. A turn that I never expected. How could I have known that the man I saw on the cross every day had felt my pain and hurt. How could Ihave known that the blood he shed would set me free, until the night when he reached out his hand, and took mine in his, as I took him into my home and into my heart.
