I love the Lord Jesus Christ and live for Him, and have since 2005 when He allowed me to realize my predicament of being a sinner before a holy God. Judgment Day awaits us and all are in danger of being judged and condemned, because we are all guilty of sin. And there is no way out except through Jesus Christ. And no, "praying a simple prayer," being baptized by water, confessing sins to a priest, acknowledging the existence of God/Christ will not save you or anybody from hell fire. God is merciful and will save those who turn away from their sins and follow Him. He can deliver them from judgment because the punishment He requires for sin is claimed by Christ. Christ died on the cross, so that those who follow Him could live forever with God in Heaven. But those who refuse to follow Christ will pay the penalty for their sins themselves: which results in eternal punishment in Hell. Is sin really worth it? Would gaining the whole world matter if your soul was lost? Our lives may seem long at present, but time flies and they will be ending before we know it. A mere lifespan of 60 or so years is puny compared to eternity. We are already guilty of sin and God requires us to be punished one day. You can either refuse to believe this and continue in your sinful pleasures, or you can come to your senses and cry out to Christ to save you, and He will. Nothing is worth going to Hell for. Turn away from your sins and follow Christ. You will be mocked, the world will hate and ridicule you, you will lose friends and even family, but you will gain the only One who matters: God. Jesus said whoever loves their friends or family, or this world, more than Him, is not worthy of Him. You claim to be a Christian, but do you live to obey Christ? If not, you're a hypocrite, and on judgment day, Christ won't want anything to do with you. So repent, and follow the Lord. Don't believe me? Believe Christ, even He says so:
