Welcome to my page!! Let me introduce myself...My name is not CELES, but, rather that it is my user name on here. I love that name Celes. At one point, I wanted to change my name legally to Celes. But so far, I haven't yet...!
I am happily married to Barry. I want to stay with him the rest of my life.I just wanted you to know I am not here on this web-site "hunting" another mate or spouse. I love my husband. I believe in our marriage vows & plan to keep them.
I have 5 children: all grown. Ages: 29, 27,26,24,22 (3 sons & 2 daughters in that order)
I have one grandson: Keegan. He is 5 years old going on 6. He lives in Tennessee.
My occupation? I am a House-hold Engineer. Ha! In other words: a house-wife.I like the term "House-hold Engineer" better!! (smile) Sounds so professional...ha ha ha
I am from sunny Pine Knot, Kentucky. It's a small city, real close to the state line of Tennessee. Actually, I was raised in Iowa (the cornfield state) then I slowly migrated to the south.I moved to Ky. in 1983. I've been here awhile... I consider it my home state.I wouldn't live anywhere else! Oh I remember those cold winters in Iowa, been there done that, no more!!
(smile)
I had a hard time adjusting to ky. at first. It took me a year to make friends. Why, you ask? They said I talked too fast, that I was a "foreigner" (someone out of state). I re-trained myself how to talk! Yep. I slowed way down, used some kentucky words, repeated what I said, backed up and paraphrased what I just said, then repeated it again! Presto! It worked! (smile) I'm not making fun at Ky. language--it's an art of its own. I just learned how to make friends. Now I have oodles of Kentucky friends. I can talk the Iowa way or the kentucky way. Is that bi-lingual?! ha ha ha Hey, it works! (Actually, I think living here so long had its affect of me--it is difficult to switch to the Iowa mode of talking after learning this way.)
I believe in God. I am a Christian. I wasn't taught this way of life--I found the Lord in my early 20's. He was there the whole time, I just wasn't aware of it. But praise the Lord He knew me and is directing my path!
