My name is Brietta. I'm a born again Christian, married to Darrell since Dec. '01, & proud "mommy" to our 2 year old tortoiseshell calico named Joy Joy. We can't have children of our own. I was saved back in the '80s, but fell away after I had a nervous breakdown & the people in my church turned their backs on me. I came back to the Lord on Dec. 10, 2000, the happiest day of my life. The second happiest was when I got married to Darrell. I was 43 & didn't think I'd ever get married, but the Lord brought Darrell into my life. We actually met as pen pals through regular mail 10 years before we decided to get married. We both knew it was from the Lord. We have our problems because we're both disabled, but we love each other & help each other. We live in North Carolina now. I'm originally from Michigan & Darrell is from NC, but when we got married, I was living in Florida with my elderly father. We lived there for almost 5 years (I was there for almost 6) when my father passed away, & we came here because Darrell's family is here & it's cheaper to live here than Florida is. I have two brothers who are ministers, one in West Virginia & one in Florida.

I love everything Disney--TV shows, cartoons, & movies. I also enjoy true crime stories like Cold Case Files, Forensic Files, American Justice, The Investigators, plus the Animal Heroes series on Animal Planet. Basically anything clean.
