Fish Food I'm Allie and I am, me. Please don't label me, I can't even label myself really because I just plain ol' don't know what group I am? G.o.t.h.i.c? Prep? Skater? Punk? Nerd? Emo? I have NOOOO clue. I've got a little bit of everything:) I'd say I'm about 75% Redneck. I have Bicyclephobia because it seems like I always get in some a.c.c.i.d.e.n.t every time I ride a bike, none as bad as last year when I had to go to the Trauma Room but after that I'm even more scaired of bikes. The past couple years have been a bit tough for me....moving to a whole new state I had never been to, making new friends, recovering pain from the past and present, I was kind of a new believer of Christ when I moved in a way, I had to go to a new school and didn't have a good experience there, had to to go to a new church (which I love now), my dad getting a new job, good friends becoming enemies, it;s been tough. But I've finally learned how to move on, the past tries to sneak up on me and sometimes it's succeeds, but not alwaya anymore. The pain doesn't control me anymore. You know why? You're probably thinking, "Oh, she's going to say the most predictable answer for Christians, Jesus made her happy." Well, I asked God to just take it from me and He did, He has relieved me and taken a HUMONGO burden off my shoulders where I can have some peace. All I had to do is ASK Him, like one of my favorite verses that this year has just been sticking to me Matthew 7:7- "ASK and it will be GIVEN to you. SEEK and you will FIND. KNOCK and the door will OPEN." If you are suffering through something, tell God and ask Him to take it away from you, give it to Him. But keep in mind, it may not be your timing, because His timing is perfect. We don't understand everything about God, He's the weirdest dude ever, but I'm tellin' ya, He may be weird, but He gives a lot of Awesomeness to people:) There are a lot of great books you can read about suffering and prayer, some of my favorites are Job and Psalms.
