You know how the bible says in 2 Cor 5:17 that if any man be in Christ he is a new creature, old things has passed away and all things have become new?  I've thought much about that.  What God wants us to know is that we have not only decided to love Jesus and accepted Him as Lord, but that Jesus has also begun to do a work in us, in that He has changed the very way we think and envision the world around us.  Previously, we used to think and act like everyone else.  Like the people in the movies act most of the time.  Like how we read about people acting in news reports. Like how Dr. Phil observes and treats people and their behaviors.  But keep in mind that those people are usually not born again people.  So we have very little in common with them, except for outer appearances.  But what has ocurred within a true believer is a miracle from God.  You received the word that Jesus is risen from the dead (which is impossible for a natural man to believe) and that information spoke something to your spirit and your spirit was changed, your sins erased from existence, and forgotten, and you are literally brand new.  Praise God.
