Call unto me,and I will answer thee,and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not(Jeremiah 33:3).

The reaches of man's faculties are limited-extensive but limited.The strides of science in the past few years have been nothing short of astounding.Our children are observing things with passive non chalance that would have frightened some of us into becoming runaways in our childhood.In our generation we have pierced the invisible walls of outer space,landed men on moon and machines on Mars,and shrunk our world until every continent is only a few hours away.We have created gadgets to make our lives more enjoyable and less laborious.We can tackle mathematical mountains if we can count to 10 by the use of a calculator small enough to slip into our shirt pocket or purse. We can turn a knob with thumb and forefinger and join an event 10,000 miles away with more clarity than those who are there!And promises for more are boundless and fulfillment is certain if we have time left in history. Man's reach is limited .Limitation is written overall that man is doing and all that he has done.Man may seem better off but he is not better!We have unlimited media communication but seemingly nothing profitable to say.We are witness to the failure of success!It should be remembered that God passed by the Roman machinery and the religious hierarchy of 2000 years ago to bring about the simple happenings in a nameless stable in an unimportant town in the Middle East.All this was prepared by a number of prayer meetings. I want to reconfirm,Man's reach as extensive as it is ,is limited!Even in the realm of extending good his reach is limited.But there is a reach that man has been given that is limitless.That reach is prayer!It is infinite as God for it links the human life to God.It is limitless in space,touching three worlds.It touches Heaven,earth and hell simultaneously and instantaneously.It influeces God as no other endeavor.It touches man as nothing else that we can do.It worries the devil more than any human enterprise.The devil hates prayer because it throws the battle to God and pits Him against the enemy with all His resources.Prayer can be launched in an instance and at the speed of thought hit its target!It is not confined to the laws of space.Prayer Knows no limit in time,it belongs to the principle of a transcendent dimension.It can be set off in time, have imediate effect,and reside forever.

By all means do as much as you can.Take advantage of all the faculties that are yours.Speakas often and as much of the Lord and His doings as you can.If you are given to writing,put it down for posterity. Extend your influence with all diligence and determination.But with all of this don't neglect the priority of life's limitless reach-that of prayer. Through prayer we can burst this prison of time and space,even while we are here and stand on the shore of eternity and at the foot of the mountain of infinity.

Through this limitless reach we can stand in the NOW and influence the THEN.We can stand in the HERE and touch the THERE.Prayer breaks across the borders of time and stands firmly in eternity.It cannot be held in one generation or time slot.Millions of prayers have outlasted the nations and dynasties of their comtemporaries and arrived on the shore of another generation safe and sound.Who can tell what prayers now reverberating around the Throne of the universe will be the means of saving our strife-torn,sin wrecked world?And who can tell that now we are enjoying blessings andmercies because we live in the atmosphere of prayers prayed long ago?No potentate can cancel the efficacy of prayer or lock it within a location or era.No edict can kill its influence.

Prayer bounds across the borders of the centuries as a runner over hurdles,and prayer shall escort us home.Nothing lies beyond the reach of believing prayer. Past,present,future,time,and space nothing lies beyond its reach.It is here that the borders of humanity and Diety are breached.Though we are utterly human,when we pray we venture into the realm ofthe Divine.That which is in us, which is more than human,begins to act and intreat,and we can touch infinit,

God Himself.The early Church exerted the privilege of prayer.The Church of today is in danger of deserting the privilege.With all our technology, inventions,and innovations,let us emphasize,centralize,and prioritize on PRAYER LIFE'S LIMITLESS REACH! If grace is the river,prayer is the riverbed through which it flows.If grace is the water of life,prayer is the pipeline Through which it comes.If grace is the content,then prayer is the container which it is poured.That being true,we can not separate grace and prayer.To speak of one is to speak of the other for we can not Know grace apart from prayer.

You and I didn't think of prayer,God did!This preposition was not conjured at a council table of haumanity.God said it:CALL unto me,and I will answer thee,and shew thee great and mighty things,which thou knowest not(Jerimiah33:3)

First,Look at the demand.God says simply,Call unto Me.Everyone can do this,even the speechless.Calling upon God can be done in the mind without the utterance of a word.There is no simpler command made and none more accessible than this.

See its simplicity...CALL!See its audacity...call unto me!Go to the top!Talk to the King!In this offer God invites us,commands us to call upon Him!That should send your mind reeling.The God of the universe has condecended to communicate with finite man.He is listening. He hears when you speak! See its immensity. He leaves us no condition as to subject matter. We can call upon Him regarding anything. The potenialsubject matter of prayer is infinitely immense. No area of discussion with the Father is off limits.

Second,observe the dynamic.And I will answer [YOU].Can your mind hold the fact that your praying sends God into action?We can call upon Him and His mighty sovereign will goes into effect.How sickening that we should be content to operate within the puny confines of our power when the power of God is waiting to be released.And the means by which it is released is prayer!God is saying to us I WILL;and you can settle one thing for certain that He Will.And it is none other than this one who demands that we call upon Him;and He declares that He will answer.Observe the designation of His answer,I will show YOU,God as no one else understands our frame,our density,our infirmities.He knows that it must be simple for us,and He is willing to show us!

Third,see the dimensions.Call uto Me and I shall shew you great and mighty things which thou Knowest not. Who can assess the magnitude of these dimensions?

We would make God a prisoner in His own universe,disallowing Him the perogative of doing anything out side the boundaries of certain fixed laws.We do well to remember who fixed them. It is He who says I will do great and mighty things. Pray!Prayer is an invitation to experience the boundlessness of God.He has invited us to experience His boundless doings.And his doings doubtlessly will shatter the limitations of your thought power.Aren't you weary with operating within the narrow confines of your understanding?Aren't you tired of being explainable?Prayer opens the door into dimensions beyond Understanding.

Prayer is as illimitable as God's own blessed Son.There is nothing on earth or in heaven,for time or eternity,that God's Son did not secure for us.By prayer God gives us the vast and matchless inheritance which is ours by virtue of His Son.God charges us to come boldly to the throne of Grace. God is glorified and Christ is honored by large asking.
