Butterfly
Inside my heart lies a cocoon,
where all secerts wrap themselves in silk twine strands
protected within a butterfly emerges
opening its wonderous magical wings exposing raw emotion
Fluttering to attract a simluar soul
A tear falls from a tired lonely place
only to be dried by imaginary fingers
the butterfly cannot move freely as it lives in a cage
although the door is partly open
Only flying on the heights of desired passion
inside saftey zones like clockwork the days transpire
left with emptiness as little wings rub together
as if there is a place where a heart can smile
and a kiss warms the soul where a butterfly can be free of its cocoon
