My dad and I went to see "The Guardian" and it was an awesome movie!! One thing that seemed to stick with me a lot was they kept saying, "You have a choice, save yourself or save them. They're down there screaming for help, waiting for a miracle. It is your choice to somehow be their miracle or not."
Our planet needs a HUGE miracle to not destroy....a miracle that will most likely not happen. All of us on earth are screaming for help, waiting for a miracle. Some of us will recieve thst miracle....but sadly, others will not. It's a Coast Guards duty to save others, but they have to choice to save others or themselves. God is the Coast Guard in this situation. But here's the difference, it's not that He has the choice to save us or not, it's our choice to let him save us. Sometimes, a victim trapped in the ocean won't allow the Coast Guard to save them. Other victims will allow the Coast Guard to save them. All of our problems, our pain, our sorrows and guilt and hate, it's all drowning us. Our crap in our lives are our seas. The only way to survive those seas though is through Jesus because He will take on those waves. He's the one who tells you, "I'm a Coast Guard to all of your problems and I'm here to help you." But what will your response be? Will you allow Him to help you through the storm, or will you not allow Him. Maybe you don't trust Him because you've never seen Him before. You don't know how to trust someone you've never seen before. But, if you don't allow Jesus Christ to rescue you, you will drown in your pain, guilt, hate, greed, lust, and any other problem you may have.
I know Jesus has rescued me plenty of times....times where my life truly was at risk. Jesus is The Guardian, He is the protector. But will you allow Him to rescue you, or will you drown in your problems forever? It is your choice.
