This Is What The Bible How We Get To Heaven
ALL HAVE SINNED
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)
As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one. (Romans 3:10)
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one, to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53.6)
But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; we all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities like the wind, have taken us away. (Isaiah 64:6)
ILLUSTRATION: How high can you jump? If all you had to do was jump one mile, how close could you come? You would miss it by almost a mile, wouldnt you?
PENALTY OF SIN IS DEATH (Separation from God)
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. (Isaiah 59:2)
But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lambs Book of Life. Revelation 21:27)
JESUS DIED TO PAY THE PENALTY FOR OUR SINS
And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. (I John 2:2)
By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (Hebrews 10:10)
For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. (Hebrews 10:14)
For he made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
THE REQUIREMENT TO RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE IS TO BELIEVE.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. (John 1:12)
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18)
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. (John 6:47)
So they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. (Acts 16:31)
Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins; and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses." (Acts 13:38, 39)
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1)
For you are all the sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26)
SALVATION IS NOT OF OR FROM WORKS.
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. (Galatians 2:16)
For by grace you have been saved though faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8,9)
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. (Romans 3:28)
And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. (Romans 11:6)
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:5)
But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness." (Romans 4:5)
ETERNAL LIFE IS ETERNAL AND CAN NEVER BE LOST!
These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. (I John 5:13)
Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For He himself has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5)
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. (John 10:28)
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. (John 5:24)
to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. (1 Peter 1:4,5)
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13, 14)
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:37-39)
