Today is my Birthday and I woke up feeling a little down, just not quite right in my spirit. I knew I had a choice to either accept this feeling of discouragement and wallow in it all day, or to use self control and press in and praise the Lord for a beautiful day, and all He has done for me. I chose to press on! The enemy has been trying to attack me with questions of why, I don't deserve to be Blessed and I am not good enough to be in Gods family and why would I want to be anyways.And of course this isn't the first time I have been attacked, I believe the enemy is trying his best to put questions and doubts into the hearts and minds of those who are getting to close in their relationships with the Father. It has been a battle for about a week and I have felt weary and discouraged at times I will admit. But through all this I have felt the peace of my Father and know He is with me I have clung to the scripture. I went into battle wearing the armour of god (ephesians 6:10-16,) which is the sword of the spirit,and I held up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the enemy.And of course Prayer. some of the scriptures That I was led to--- Philippians 4:4 Always be ful of joy in the Lord,I say rejoice!Let everyone see that you are unselfish and considerate in all you do.Remember that the Lord is coming soon. Isaiah 56:1-5 Be just and fair to all the Lord god says, Do what is right and good, for I am coming soon to resue you. Psalms 86: 3-6 Be merciful, Oh Lord, for I am looking up to you in constant hope. Give me happiness, Oh Lord for I worship only you. O Lord, you are so good and kind, so ready to forgive; so full of mercy for all who ask. Listen closely to my prayer, O god hear my urgent cry. I wil call to you whenever trouble strikes, and you will help me. There are many more scriptures, but, to get to the point. lol I just wanted to give God the glory for all He has done for me , For His mercy ,Grace and Peace..And most of all for His greatest gift .Jesus, my Lord and savior, and thank Him for Loving me first.
