I was inspired to write this poem yesterday when I was listening to my christian music. Hope you enjoy it.
Why Am I
Lord, why am I in such despair,
It just isn't fair.
I want to put the worrying aside,
So I can take time to smell
The flowers outside.
Lord, why am I in such despair,
It just isn't fair.
I want to sing and praise you
But I just can't leave the room.
My loneliness is bringing me down,
And I'm tired of walking around with a frown.
Lord, why am I in such despair,
It just isn't fair.
Don't let my cry for help go unheard
For father I need you now.
Take my hand in my time of need.
Wipe my tears and take away
all my fears.
Hold me In your arms, Lord
Because with your loving heart
I know I will be fine.
