You know as humans we tend to think we can't be happy or content unless everything is just perfect. Everything is just like WE want it, all going OUR WAY. If we don't get away from this mentality we will NEVER be happy. Perfection is not for this world. We will only get perfection when we go to be with our Lord. Heaven is the only place perfection will ever be. So what do we do? We learn that happiness is when we follow God and let HIM determine what we need and when. If we would all just focus our passions -whatever they may be - on HIM then we would get what we need to make us content with our lives and as happy as this-side-of heaven can be for us. God wants our passion just like HE gave us HIS passion on the cross. Don't you think he deserves that much from us? He's not asking us to go as far as He did - giving our life. He just wants our passion, our companionship, our worship. I think that is very little to ask of us considering what he gave for us. What do you think? Can we learn to be content in Him? To let our happiness start with Him? If I want to be satisfied in life - not in my life with Him, that won't be until I die - but in my human life, then I need to trust in Him. TRUST therefore equals CONTENTMENT and HAPPINESS. I think I can do that what about you?
