I started dreaming about a Christian music festival when I was 12 with my dad at a bluegrass festival. I had 2 Petra tapes a Carmen tape, The Beatles and some others. As I watched the days events and listen to my tapes I imagined it was their concert I was attending. I have been praying and working on the God Send Revival Project over 6 years now. Since that time the Lord has lead us to the Bowes Ranch with over 120 Acres and the desire to host the event. Beautiful land too, tucked into the majestic hills of the Palouse valley and overlooking the little town of Harvard and in the center of some of the best camping in the Northwest. He has brought A state of the art recording studio into our life as a personal friend and a whole host of people have started to show interest and have began to join in the effort. The event starts on what is known as the Ascension Day. Holy Thursday was the first holiday of the followers of Christ and was held in rememberance of the day in which Christ bodily ascended into Heaven. The outcome of this event is totally dependant on God and everyone involved. We are asking those who pray for revival to share their ideas and become involved as the Lord leads them. We are working with a recording studio to have a contest for independent artists to be able to cut a full CD and for runner-ups to be able to cut singles. We will also be using every network that becomes available to promote and sell that CD for them. We will be webcasting much of the event to give everyone involved world wide exposure as well as putting together a documentary of the event. Each band involved will get a copy to reproduce and distribute. We are working to build websites to help with this as well as networking with other believers to offer as rewarding an event as possible for all involved. It will cost money to do this event. We will have to pay some bands and we still have to reinforce the roads with gravel and get alot of supplies as well as buy permits to both meet code and make it an enjoyable event for all. In order to meet these cost we will be charging to get in as well as asking for donations. The money generated by this program will be managed by an expert acountant so that we can be accountable to the public. Any money raised above the cost of the event will be used towards producing more events like this in the future. We want to pay taxes as this helps our community and therefore are not trying to go Non-Profit but as we grow we will have to weigh our options. The idea is quite simple. When 2 or more are gathered in Christ's name, He will be there as well. He meant for us to be one body of believers and although we are different parts of the body with different gifts we can come together to praise and worship our Heavenly Father in one accord. I was a lost child and I know how much it meant to me to hear God's message, it didn't matter what denomination or beat of music I heard it in. Without those moments calling out to me it would have been a whole lot harder to give up the world and find God. It is written in the bible that angels are those who save us unto rightousness. We must continually reach out in anyway we can to bring the message of God to the world until His return. This event is both to honor our Father and to show him we are ready for His return and that we can love each other as Christ himself loved us. It is my prayer that the people called to be apart of this will be involved as an honest outcry to the Lord for the revival of the worlds heart through Christ and that everyone who comes to this event will leave this event with a new outlook on the people around them. Seeing the world with the same mercy that lead Christ.
