Poem: TRANSFORMATION
Posted On 08/10/2006 15:06:02 by Minderz
TRANSFORMATION A girl raised in a sinful world, With drugs, abuse, and molestation. Life with no meaning, Only pain, depression, and frustration. Dead and beried in a hole, So dark and deep. The devil whispering in her ear, She began to weep. Ugly, fat, And worth nothing! She feels like her life, Is worth ending. The hole is getting deeper, Her sobs growing louder. A few pills, a few cuts, Her life was growing darker. Drugs, alcohol, and sex, Was her lifes aim. Hate, anger, and uncaring, Was her everyday game. Until one day, A hand touched her soul. Pulled her from the darkness, From that deep, deep hole. To her, this person, She did not know. But soon, thereafter, He began to show. Standing before her, With loving and caring eyes, Was Jesus Christ, She now recognized. She falls to her knees, in worship and praise. Her life will now see, Far better days. Her body trembled, As she asked to be forgiven. She did not deserve, What she had been given. So, if you find yourself, In that same deep hole, The darkness creeping in, Swallowing your soul. Cry out and ask for Jesus, He will never forsake, Nor will he ever leave us. He is always there, By our side. Just let your voice flow, Through the oceans tide. He will than answer, He will pull you free. All you have to do, Is truthfully believe. Poem by: Mindie Erickson
