“God? Why so much him? You can’t see him now so you act as if he was never there at all. But you see me and will act accordingly if I have the attributes of him. Hmph…believing is not seeing.” I said feeling regret and even more annoyance rising as I continued. “Why doesn’t God just kill you right now?” I asked as I glanced at the clock on the wall. William…you better leave this to me. I thought crouching down to meet Angus’s eye level.

“I…don’t know…” His voice trailed off. Feeling a sly grin cross my face, I pulled the gun from my ankle and replaced it with one bullet. Holding the gun towards Angus, I watched as his eyes became rampant.

“The reason God doesn’t kill you now…is one word. You figure it out and you’ll be free.” I said as Angus took the gun from my hand. A single droplet of sweat ran down the side of Angus’s face, glittering from the fluorescent bulbs above. Surprisingly something inside of me made my spine shiver with fear. I watched as Angus’s eyes moved over the gun’s black distinct curves and edges. I contained my smile as Angus raised the gun. Not pointing at me, yet not pointing at himself. Raising the gun midriff, my eyes focused on his long fat forefinger wrapped around the trigger, slowly but steadily moving back. “Remember, even though it may seem that no one cares what you do, what you think, how you act. There will always be that Omni present host that with one word shall show the most love and care towards you and you alone.” Angus’s eyes were focused on the gun. Slowly after the seconds passed by like hours. The increased anticipation drew unexpectedly worse. In means of connecting him to the reason in being. I was startled to hear the momentous click of the trigger with the gun pointed towards himself.

“Blank.” Angus managed as he looked like he just about had it with my presence and questions. I stood and walked towards the door. Angus glared at me with wet soaked eyes.

“As being the head of the National Treasury for the United States, you do nothing for your life. You end up burning alive forever. You change as a business man; you will end up with eternal joy and laughter.” I started as I placed my hand on the doorknob.

“Hurry up miss prissy!” Megan shouted as I stopped myself from responding to her.

“Goodnight Angus.” I said and opened the door causally walking across the dance floor to the exit.

&nb sp;      “It’s only rude in the eyes of another, never in the eyes of the beholder.” Dominic smirked as he extended his hand to draw me out in a little spin, then pulling me back into his arms.

“But you want what you can’t get in order to be pleasured with the ways of this world. Correct?” I asked as Dominic held my hand in his moving along to a now low beat jive. Smiling from my question Dominic scoffed and held me closer. His warm breath smelt of exotic peppermint with some rare scent on his suit I have never in my wildest dreams smelt before.

“Only if it’s worth my time.” Dominic responded as I glanced over at Jamie who walked out the doors expertly. I couldn’t help myself as a smile rose from my mouth. Dominic seeming to get the hint danced and led as he moved me towards the balcony.

“Oh! Is it possible to go to the next world and return unscathed by the notorious devil himself?!” Stanton asked sarcastically. Widow couldn’t help but retain his laughter as the man moved his hand inside his coat pocket.

“Anything is possible with the most high. Yet do you believe enough to go there and shake his hand?” Widow asked as he noticed the gleaming metal of Stanton’s concealed weapon.

“Do you believe?” Stanton repeated towards Widow as he placed the tip of the match against the stone wall.

“What’s the point of living if we don’t?” Widow commented sliding the little stick against the granite rock. A single spark of fire lit the cool night air as Stanton revealed his weapon pointing it towards Widows face. In one quick motion Widow slide his other hand behind Stanton pulling his body towards himself and kneeing his gun out of his hands falling over the stone railing. Stanton’s grunt of exhaustion gave a pleasure worth millions to Widows mind. “Remorse is the one thing you can say that is oh so hurtful. Yet when you don’t mean it, it feels…wonderful.” Widow whispered as the fire began eating the little stick in between his fingers. “Stanton…if only you knew the devil himself, my how you would tremble at the very sight of him, even if he were a speck in the distance. The beating of your own heart is loud enough for the devil to see you, wherever you go.” Widow said in his ear as he raised the lit match up to his face. Stanton struggled a bit as he soon became mesmerized by the fire. “The heat Stanton…will melt the very skin off your bones, no rest, no food, no water. Thirst will become your greatest enemy. Yet when it seems that it’s going to end and you close your eyes. Kneeling down in the molten dirt, hands burned beyond measure, your whole body feeling heat, pain and wanting execution. Letting go of your soul with the opening of your eyes and…” Widow held his breath as the wind blew out his match. Rachel and Dominic seemed to be lovers of a new culture as they slowly moved out onto the balcony.                     &nb sp;                         &nb sp;

“Beautiful night.” I said looking up at the glassy eyed stars.

“Yes, if only it can last forever.” Dominic replied as I caught his illusory smile. A couple of minutes passed until I heard a very light whimper to my left. I turned to look Dominic in the eye; his sensual gaze gave me a quick thrill inside. My peripherals worked like a charm as I made out the dark shadows of 2 figures.

“Two million Herman.” I whispered to myself. Dominic looked at me,

“Excuse me?”

“I was just thinking of time.” I said leaning my waist towards Dominic’s firm body.

“Time will be forever as long as you never age.” He said turning his body towards me and supposedly looking for the moment to seize me away. A smirk jumped on my lips as I glared out into the vast garden.

“I am running out of time…it seems that we all are.” I said as the feeling of a hand gripped my waist. Like any man his type cannot be more patient enough until they finally get into the woman’s pants.

“Then let’s make the most of it.” Dominic replied lifting my chin ever so lightly towards his face. His deep sensual eyes drew me closer. A need so great to just kiss him hung in the balance. The beating of my heart overwhelmed me as I took one breath and turned away. Seemingly shocked by my quick response, Dominic smiled.

“By making the most of it, what pleasure is it, if it means nothing in the end?” I asked as Dominic began swaying again as the band inside reverberated to our ears.

“Might as well do it before time expires.”

“So live for the moment?” I questioned as I to felt compelled to sway. Dominic nodded but then seemed to be in deep thought. “Love when the moment comes, lust when the heart desires and die when time expires.” I said just above a whisper. A sudden boost of confidence arose inside of me as I couldn’t help but smile. I turned to face Dominic with an annoying voice ringing in my earpiece.

“Time is up! Let’s go!” Holding my tongue, Dominic’s voice found sound as he spoke just above a murmur.

“My heart desires,”

“How far are you willing to go?” I asked as Dominic’s eyes glanced towards the shadowed corner of the balcony.

“What ever it takes.” He grinned as his hand put pressure on my back pushing up against his agile stature. My lips moved to his ear,

“But as you, live for the moment of pleasure…death…may feel the urge to expire…” I whispered as I felt Dominic’s entire body shudder. A small smirk came across my face as I stepped away, leaving Dominic hunched over gasping for breath.

Stanton’s fear was undeniably fun. Just staring down at the lifeless body of Dominic seemed to empower the moment to such a broader scale.

“If a beautiful woman like that can end a man’s life with a snap of her petite finger. Imagine what a man can do with another man’s life…” Widow whispered as he felt Stanton’s need to get away from this place. “Tell me Stanton. Do you collect your treasures on earth as it is in heaven?”

“How do they collect treasures in heaven?” Stanton asked with his arrogance rising once again. Widow’s haughty laugh caught the instant gust of wind.

“My dear Stanton,” Widow said catching his breath as he composed himself. “Keeping the treasures of this world mean nothing, what you do with your time here is what matters.” Widow remarked as he felt his time was shortened. Widow leaned into Stanton’s ear, “Hell is on the rise, if it’s ignored…well, we all know what’s to come of it.” With that final remark, Stanton stood alone in the engulfing shadows…a little burnt match in between his fingers.

“Kyle! Tap your earpiece!” I screamed as I heard my intercom come to life.

“Plane has arrived, you have two minutes.” William’s voice growled. Anger infused inside my gut as frustration soon took over again. Kyle wasn’t answering, yet his vitals spiked only once. Everyone else had made it out. I quickly grabbed my laptop and backpack and jogged out the door. Still glancing at the monitor for Kyle’s vitals, I pushed open the exit’s wide metal doors. A chill shook to my bones as the blizzard wind swept past me. The thunder of the Jets engines led me to the slick black skin of the high powered plane. Remorse stricken, I walked towards the plane and jumped up the steps. Sitting in my designated seat next to James, who was playing with some grey goop. I opened my laptop all the way and tapped into a spy satellite.

The cool air greeted my skin as joy filled my body. Accomplishment rose with pride as I stepped forward to enter the elegant black limo. The immediate shock of a tight grip on my arm and the hoarse, putrid smell of something not of this earth made me stop.

“You put fear into the minds of the confused and lost. Yet with your delicate,” Keeping my body stiff as to not make the man aware that his touch of my hair brought a shudder to my body. “-features…you bring lust and desire into the eyes of man.” A strange sensation raveled in my stomach. Fear? Excitement? Enjoyment? What more can this man say that I have not heard already?

“Your point?” Surprised by even my own words, the man pushed me inside the limo. Feeling a rush of cold wind greet my skin, everything soon went dark.
