Rachel moved towards the slightly ajar door and peeked inside. Megan was talking to Kyle as he wrapped his big arms around her and hugged her. A sense of anger rose in her as she turned away. Why anger? Rachel never knew why, neither did she care. One last time, that’s all that mattered. Rachel’s mind worked as she entered her room. Rachel walked towards her closet and opened the door, with her dark colored dresses giving off a needed sense of desire. Red, blue, green, black and white. For this, last affair…the best of the best. Desire….lust, the right color for it all. Red, no too original. Blue…maybe, white, absolutely not.

I set my handguns on the table and sat down in the wooden chair. I sighed and quickly wiped away the loose tear. The final night…I thought as other thoughts clouded my mind. Would Widow really be there? If not, when would I see him again? My head felt like it was going to explode with all the thoughts running through it. I took a deep breath in and out then quickly tied my hair back in a bun.
&nb sp; ى “You must be pursuing her delicately.” Herman said looking himself over in front of the full body mirror; his blonde hair perfectly in place.
“Delicately isn’t the right word. I mean part of me wants her yet another part says no.” Kyle said as he checked the cologne on the top of the dresser.
“Well for that, I would only have two answers. Either William has gotten through to you about relationships in this club parse. Or God knows your not the right person for her.” Herman replied sliding his pack of cards in his pocket. “Don’t worry it about. Tonight we are done and then you can think about it. Hurry up though; we are all going to be leaving soon.” Herman said and went into the bathroom. Kyle sat on the edge of the bed trying to make sense of it all.
&nb sp; ى “Hold still for a few more minutes.” James said as he added a deep tan to Grant’s face. Once finished, Grant checked his knife. Satisfied by the sharpness of the edge, Grant stood up as James checked him over. “Ok, your good to go.” James replied as Grant smiled and quickly walked out, leaving James with his dead costumes.
&nb sp; ى I turned into the monitor and looked over the party room. People were setting up the place and it looked like guests were arriving extremely early. I tied my hair into a ponytail and held my breath as I heard the overly familiar voice behind me.
“Who says your staying here?” I ignored the voice and tested the lighting for the cameras. Just as I was about to stand up I felt her warm breath on my neck. “I can help you get ready if you want.” I stood and pushed Rachel’s face away.
“I am a better help staying here. Now go away.” I said as I pulled open the drawer to my dresser and took out a rose broach. “Here.” I said fitting the rose on Rachel’s dress.
“No, too flashy.” Rachel complained. I looked her over and she was right. I took it off and pulled out a fake tattoo from the drawer. Rachel fit it on her chest making sure her dress covered most of it.
“William wants me here.” I said sitting back in my chair.
“You’re a terrible lair.” Rachel said as she walked slowly towards me. “You know as well as I do, you want to go to this affair.” Rachel said using her seductive powers. I held in a laugh as I turned in my seat.
“I’m so sorry to disappoint you, but that only works on guys and lesbians.” I added as Rachel’s face flustered to annoyance. Rachel was so annoyed she walked out of the room with out another word. “Here we go.” I said to myself switching their cameras on.
&nb sp; ى I stared at all the faces sitting across from me. Silence came between us all as we quietly waited for the plane to touch down. Excitement and adrenaline made my hands tremble as we became nearer to our destination. I watched, as Jamie seemed to be wanting out as soon as possible. If Widow showed, she would be all over him. However, if he does not…well, that just would not be like him. Widow would be there, in the shadows of course but still in sight. I thought as I sprayed my perfume all over my neck. I suddenly felt the wheels touch the ground as the plane slowed down. Everyone sat still, unmoving. I took out my mirror and checked my makeup, perfect. I slowly stood up and followed everyone else out and into different vehicles. I ducked into a black limo with Herman. Jamie and Grant in the white limo behind us. Kyle and Mathew in a new 2010 Lexus. Mathew apparently took his time in getting situated in the car as Kyle revved the engine. I watched as Kyle and Mathew drove off towards the party while Herman and I had our driver follow them with Jamie and Grant following us. Our driver was a young man in his mid twenties, not conspicuous, just enough for a body in the driver’s seat. Herman turned on the television and watched the news as we moved towards the party of the century. Fires in the United Sates, floods in Italy, blizzards in Russia, hurricanes in the tropics. The world seemed normal enough. I thought as a smile came to my face.
“What?” Herman asked giving me a funny look.
“The world sounds like its ending and we are going to a party.” I said as a laugh escaped my mouth.
“Ironic enough?” Herman asked as he took out his cards.
“If you want to call it that, sure.” I replied settling in my seat as I watched the street lights come in less of a horde. “You know…if he shows up tonight. We are going to have trouble on our hands, or would you prefer taking him on at the table?” I asked as Herman flipped his cards in his hands.
“I’ll make a bet with you, if he does show up tonight. Then you get the two million I won the other night.” Herman said as he started to count his cards. I smirked as the thought of being two million richer came to mind.
“Now why would you bet the two million for something as silly as this?” I asked as Herman pulled out a pair of dice.
“Ask him that when you see him.” Herman replied as he glanced up at the huge mansion coming up on the dark road. I nodded and turned on the light above my head. I checked my purse for my essentials and felt the anticipation and excitement for tonight as the limo pulled up in front of the red carpet. Cameras and news reporters flashed and talked as the limo stopped. “May I?” Herman asked holding out his hand. I smiled and took his hand as he stepped out of the limo. I stepped into the flashing lights and smiled as I wrapped my arm around Herman’s. Reporters pushed microphones in our faces as we casually walked up the carpet. I heard the roar and whistles as Jamie and Grant came out of their limo. The doormen opened the huge and well detailed wooden doors. I thanked them and we both walked into the party. “Mind yourself, and keep your eyes open for him. God knows he is going to do something tonight.” Herman whispered to me and he let me go. Herman quickly made his way to the gambling tables and I glanced around at all the important people.
“I bet if the president were here, he would make an extra effort to meet you.” I turned and saw a slim old man who had a cocktail in one hand with the other holding my hand and kissed it. I smiled and checked him out quick. No, not the right guy.
“Well, thank you.” I replied blushing.
&nb sp; ى “There’s your guy.” I whispered to Grant as he spotted him.
“And yours is right there.” Grant nodded as he let go of my arm. I smiled at the sight of my target. I felt my guns on my thighs and held my purse close to my chest as I made my way towards the man. I swallowed my saliva making its presence in my mouth and touched the man’s shoulder. The man was a tall average build, black hair and a little on the flirty side.
“Hi, My name is Angus Howard. You are?”
“Oh, I know who you are, everyone knows who you are.” I replied giggling. The man beamed as he glanced around the room. “My names Kelly, Kelly Anderson.” I said trying my hardest not to shoot him right in the forehead. Angus took my hand in his and kissed it. I quickly swallowed my vomit and made an appearance that I wanted to get to know him more. However, in a more secluded area. I led Angus to a back room where our privacy would not be disturbed. Don’t make me shoot you before I can get into your head. I thought as I noticed Angus's attraction to me.
