THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD
EPHESIANS 6:10-6:18
10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Foreword: since in this time in era the Romans ruled the world the symbolism of the Armor of GOD is based on the Romans armor.

6:10 Means that our battle against satan is from now until the end, all out war.
6:11 satan carefully plans against Christians so we need to take immediate action and hold our position in this battle.
6:12 Our war is not waged against people but against the rulers of darkness such as fallen angels ,demons, and lucifer himself.
6:13 Dress yourself in the Armor of GOD and having done so you will be prepared for the devil’s continuous attacks.
6:14A An ancient Roman soldier would have a leather belt which holds the rest of his armor together. The belt is symbolic for the knowledge of the truth of Gods word. Without the belt the rest of the armor would be useless therefore you need the truth or the rest of the armor would fail to protect you giving the devil a chance to strike.
6:14B The Breastplate of Righteousness represents holy character and moral conduct which can be received by obeying the truth of the BIBLE.
6:15 The Roman soldier wore a special shoe called caligae which were purposely made to help them advance against their enemies. These shoes represent an eagerness that comes from the Gospel of peace. And with this eagerness we should advance upon the devil like the Romans did their enemies and take the battle to him.
6:16 The Shield of Faith means to take GOD at his word by believing his promises. This will protect you from the doubts that the devil tries to put in you.
6:17A The Helmet of Salvation represents the assurance of salvation. In other words believing that you are saved.
6:17B The Sword of the Spirit represents the BIBLE which means that you need to read your BIBLE and add to your knowledge.
6:18 Without prayer GOD”S ARMOR will not help you to victory in these battles. You need to pray for GOD”S aid when satan attacks.
