The prick of the needle,
Blood scarlet red,
Drops onto the sheet of sin,
Coloured strands,
Emerge,
Butterfly.

A change is wrought,
Tiresome thoughts,
Beauty robbed, darkened,
The bud still closed,
Protected.

Wait patiently,
For His Hands,
His Word,
Nourishing,
Black thoughts swept away,
Cleansed,
The battle belongs to the Lord.

Let His will be done,
Patience,
Wait,
In faith wait,
The petals,
Begin,
To open,
Grace.
