Why Lord?

Why do I run to my own little world instead of seeking Your presence?

Why do I try to do things on my own instead of seeking You?

If You are my shelter, my refuge, my fortress

Then, why do I stand outside the walls cowering in the intensity of the battle? 

In Your presence is perfect love

In Your presence is peace

JOY!

Wisdom

and most of all

You!

Lord, I run to Your presence

Again

So needy

So weary

I want

You!
