Urgent Prayer Request!

My step-dad is at it again...my brother didnt pay his cell phone bill that was in my step-dad's name and they sent it to a collection agency...well my step-dad attacked my mom verbally when she came home from church tonight...He was cursing and he told her that he hates her and us kids (me, my brother, and sister) and he was so rude and ugly...my mom was really upset and crying when she came pick me up from work...she said he was so hateful to her...Please continue to keep us in your prayers...I would really appreciate it...My mom is really hurting right now because of how my step-dad has been towards her...she is trying to stay strong, but sometimes it is just hard... Hey Joy!

Thanks for the welcome backs :) My mom paid my step-dad the money for my brother's phone, and I borrowed from my 401K so that my mom could pay him half of the taxes that they owe. He was demanding that money too. So to keep peace and get him off her back, I borrowed the money to help out my mom. My step-dad wanted the divorce, and he was just mad cause my mom wants to keep the house. He is now living with another woman. Thanks for the continued prayers! He hasnt harassed us or anything like he was in the beginning and we have been praying for a hedge of protection over the property! Have a great day! :)

Laura... Your step Dad is going to make life a living hell for your Mom... saying what ever he can to upset her because he's angry because of her decision to leave him. He probably thought that she wouldn't be brave enough to stand on her own and would stay with him forever... reguardless of how bad things were. Is there any way that your brother can pay your step dad back the money he owes him so that your Mom doesn't get targeted by your step Dad? I can understand why your step Dad is upset but he shouldn't be angry with your Mom but then again... we can't control what other people do. I know this is tough on everyone. I will be praying!!!! I hope your Mom will let everything he says to her roll right off her back. I mean... We can't control what other people say or do but we can control what it does to us. (most times)
