Most people don't like lables. They don't like to be marked. They don't like to be catorgorized. Me, i'm an exeption. I always have been. I've always been of those kids who like the idea of being differnet. I had the "bad" kid lable. To me it was cool, no one messed with the "bad" kids. I wasn't affraid to fight, or make a smart remark to someone twice my size because there plenty of "bad" kids to have my back. Sound familiar? We all have our groups...our cliques. those who are alike us. Those who share the interests as we do and like the same style of dress. And back then it was ok. Being like my friends was ok. Only wanting to hang around people like me was ok. Excluding people who were different was ok.

Recently I realized it's not ok anymore. And not becasue i'm getting older and childish things are quickly perishing. But becasue Christ came to die for ALL of us. Not just the people I hang with and share the same interests with or dress like. He came for those who are nothing like me. To those i'd never even dream of talking to.

See, God lables us. He calls us things that we don't even understand. That we can barley fathom. As a christian I am CHOZEN, I am a ROYAL PREISTHOOD, I am MORE than a CONQUROR, I am LOVED, I am a FRIEND OF GOD, I am a MISSIONARY, I am a LEADER, I am A FISHER OF MEN.

Think about those lables for a second... I mean really think about them. They weren't meant for only certian people. They were meant for ALL people. How are all these people in the world going to find these lables? Well, they need to hear about them. No lable the world could give me, meets what God has labed me. HIS CHILD.

Think about all the lables out there in this world... None of tem are fulfilling. They don't bring unity. They brin ridicule. They bring pain to one another.

I believe the time has come, I believe the time has been here in our midst, to join lables together and build unity amongst christian groups of teenagers. A time has come to take away our earthly labels and focus on the labels God has for us. It's time the only lable we need is FOLLOWER is CHRIST. 

Here's where the hard part come in though. Being wiling to not only SAY i'm a follower of Christ, but ACTING as a follower of Christ. It's time we put down the low standards of this world and pick up the glorious standards of our Lord and savior. It's time we unite together and teach this world there true lable...
