United We Stand, Divided We Fall
According to the Lord Jesus Christ a kingdom divided against itself will fall. He goes on to say that a city and a house divided against itself will fall as well. We live in a nation today that is mostly divided. We are in disagreement about such issues as abortion, stem cell research, euthansia, the death penalty, marriage issues, wars, and the list goes on. I believe God addresses these issues in the Holy Bible and that He is the final Authority in these matters. It's not a matter of God getting on our side as it is of us getting on the side of God. May I suggest America return to God before it is too late and learn what He says through the written Word and apply His teachings to our lives? We started out in this nation as a nation that feared God and showed reverence towards Him and He has blessed us abundantly. Now over 200 years later we are trying to erase His name altogether from our schools, government buildings, prayers, money, and pledge of allegiance.
