This morning i was watching a sermon by a pastor named Ed Young. One thing he said was "God gave His first Fruit by giving His Son. He gave us Jesus."
I've been thinking about it, and I've asked myself this, how often do we tell God we love Him? When i realized that i very rarely say it, i was disappointed with myself. I may say it in songs, and in my journal, but when you tell someone you love them out loud, hearing your own voice, it can send shivers to your skin. Imagine hearing the God of the universe saying "I Love you". To add effect, say He whispers it.
Jesus was a humble King. He humbled Himself, His holiness and majesty, before you. He wanted to let you know He loves you...
It blows my mind to think about this. Every morning i want to wake up and live out the simple phrase: God, i love You.
Next time I'll talk about Peter and Jesus...
In the meantime, go to this link and watch this video from the call. I went there. Over 100,000 people worshiping and crying out for our nation. can you say awesome?
